My husband and I got married at the chart house on 9-9-2023. We fell in love with the venue from the moment we toured it. We had the BEST experience using the chart house as a wedding venue. We had an outdoor ceremony and our pictures turned out gorgeous. The owner George was a blast to work with. He was so helpful and easy going! We also used him as our officiant. We had SO MANY compliments on the food and how pretty the location was. It was the wedding of our dreams. We couldn't be more thankful to George and the staff at FAB weddings for giving us a day we will never forget. I highly recommend this venue for your future wedding. You will not be disappointed.
We had our wedding at the Glenhaven venue in April of 2024. It was amazing and going through Fab! Weddings definitely contributed to that. Nicole was our event coordinator and was very thorough in our meetings with her to create our plan for the day so we didn't have to worry about much of anything. We booked our DJ through them (Matt) and that was great, too. They have a machine that spits out smoke-filled bubbles - so fun! The hope was an outdoor ceremony there, but it was a bit chilly so we decided on indoor, and it was just as beautiful. Nicole was there the day before when we decorate and facilitated rehearsal. Just so many good things about the venue itself and going through Fab; worth a tour!
From the moment we toured the venue in January 2023 to our wedding last weekend (October 2023), we were very pleased with the Chart House and their staff - especially Oscar Gonzalez! All of our guests were also so impressed with the venue, staff, and food...and as newlyweds, we could not be happier with our choice of venue! We definitely will choose this location for more celebrations during our lifetime. Thank you everyone! J&J
There was live music that added a lovely ambience to the evening dinner. The hostess and bartender I interacted with were delightful and helpful.
LOVE everything! ???? Our server was amazing, prompt, attentive and friendly (sorry, didn't catch his name - we went on a Friday night at 5pm). We sat outside and the view of the lake was lovely. Everyone loved their food! From the amazing burger to the flavorful vegan platter - everything was delicious!! Will definitely go back!
Stopped by late afternoon on a week day and ordered what was on special artichoke chicken on flat bread with pesto garlic sauce sounded great but seemed to be a little dry. It could have used a little more sauce, I believe, but overall, with the drinks, the price seemed to relate. Very nice establishment right on the lake. I'm sure that it is a lot more for what the place has to offer on the weekends and holidays and days with live entertainment. Not to mention, during the summer months, with all the outdoor seating on the patio overlooking the lake. Only a handful of locals enjoying happy hour with a bite to eat in a large establishment such that it is, it seemed vacant, but I will stop back on a beautiful summer's evening with my lady on the weekend for some of the good cheer that I'm sure will be many smiling faces will be there doing the same in this beautiful outdoor setting this place offers as a historic establishment of interest, memories, friends, relationships, great menu supporting the high-schools and graduates for there future opportunities and colleagues who may be waiting on your table eager to serve you with hope a smile and possibly a little stage fright.
Samantha was our server and she was excellent ???? The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The location is near a small lake which will be great for patio dining this Summer. We cannot wait to return to listen to the live music. Overall a great first impression.
We’ve been coming here over twenty years and always have appreciate this significant local venue. We especially enjoy its large patio on the lake during warmer months. It delightful to take live music and dine in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Consistently we’ve had great service. It was very busy during our last visit a few weeks ago on a Saturday evening. Yet our waitress was friendly and nice; she was also timely with her services. As well, she did not rush us to leave even when others were wanting our prime table up front by the music.
The Charcuterie Board is well worth the $18. We were served a nice assortment of cold cut meats, olives, cheeses and crackers, fresh grapes, and dried cranberries. It is sufficient for three. The Walleye Platter is probably my favorite dinner entrée. It is consistently pan seared to ideally done and served with a fresh lemon cream sauce, and two sides of your choice. I chose the Brussel sprouts topped with bacon and onion. Its very tasty (but a tad too greasy for me).
It's a popular place in the weekend and great for events. My local Chamber comes here often, and they offer an ideal setting as well as great drinks and appetizers. The wines and mimosas are very good. Its nice to see them expanding the menu at times. We tried the very popular Fried Pickles – but were disappointed.
Most likely we are spoiled by having them recently in Destin, Florida at several venues, where they were absolutely fabulous.
Ample parking. You can use your phone to access their online menu online; we asked for traditional copies that are a bit more expansive and our waitress was quick to bring them. The venue and music is exceptional, especially if you can catch Mick Sterling and others with significant performance experience.
