Very cool grill on Bluebonnet. Has a full bar, tons of TVs, good draft beer (limited options), and a great menu. Order at the counter. They’ll call it out when your order is up. It’s clean and a great alternative you’ve been to Walk-ons a dozen times!
My experience tonight was the worst!
Normally it's a hit or miss with this location and tonight was the miss for dinner I had ordered around 7:55pm and they close at 9pm. I'd noticed that I was missing an order of fries, one of the poboys didn't really have any fish, bread was hard so I called the restaurant and asked for those items and they said that they can credit or remake. I said I'm not far so I'll come back. When I made it back to the restaurant the manager Hannah told me over the phone, that before I hung up they wanted to tell me that the kitchen was closed at 8:45pm and I called at 8:50pm and they can credit me. So i asked why not call me back or contact me through email. She said I didn’t have your number, and I'm like with technology if that was true that is very unacceptable. So I'd made a blank trip!
So yes I then drove back there to the restaurant and only offered a credit over the phone and now I'm empty-handed with no dinner or no refund. This business is going down especially with the quality of the food and service. Not to mention when I made it back home my husband complained about the gumbo, he said that it didn't taste anything like gumbo (no meat present) and that he had to throw it away and my kid didn’t eat any of the mac and cheese because the noddles were stuck together with barely any cheese on them.
Service and quality was horrible at this point what do I need a credit for? I NEED A REFUND! For all those items! So just because the kitchen is closing you don't take pride in preparing the meal correctly. Train the kitchen workers properly because our dinner is now ruined.$65 went to waste
I had the Jalapeno Melt Burger with toasted sourdough bun and crispy sweet potato fries. All were every good. This will be my future place for burgers. Give it a try. Plenty of TVs to watch the LSU games.
Brew-Bacher's grill has really good food! The service personnel were friendly & helpful when it came to ordering. The bus staff were super friendly & cleared unwanted plates promptly.
There is no table service here & this place is loud! It fills up quickly after opening on a Sunday, but that has to do with the good food & service! I would definitely eat here again!
Great sports bar with Tv's everywhere!
I have not been to Brew backers in a few years and decided to bring a guest as I was exited for my guest to try BB’s awesomeness. They offer sweetened and unsweetened freshly brewed tea. The onion rings are unique and delicious.They do not fall apart like most do as the batter is a different consistency than what other restaurants use. I recommend the O rings over the loaded fries. The Oh rings are oh oh, it’s magic you know!?! The loaded fries are not worth the price unless you’re craving it particularly. So the onion rings and loaded fries totaled around $17. The cowboy burger has many toppings and they work well together. Kinda like Owen Wilson and Jackie Chan (queue Cowboy by Kid Rock). The shrimp Poboy used to be loaded with shrimp. It is no longer. RIP delicious poboy. Two burgers and two sides costed 46. A little pricey.
Best Burger, po-boy, and Sandwich joint in town. A local favorite, food always served fresh hot and made to order. you won't beat their big 9 oz burgers.
We've been going here for years for lunch and it's great to just sit and relax. We usually share mozzarella sticks and I get the fried fish. They have the best fried fish.
Started going to Bluebonnet location once a month for the past year, and all was well, with the exception of my family's last visit this Monday. Orders were wrong, and when they were returned, the kitchen complained that they prepared "as ordered". When the "corrected " orders were returned, they were wrong, as well as cold (hamburgers). Obviously, I don't know what I like to eat, so I should just let them choose for me next time....at least it might be warm...
