This place is a must go for sure! We got all this food plus a trip through the great salad bar, with way more than salad, fried ravioli, and 3 pieces of pie with 2 cups of coffee for under $42! The service was wonderful and friendly, and it sounds weird, but the ladies room smells so good! ????
Great food and generous portions.
Knocking off a point of service because they didn't once refill drinks. Also, being there for the first time, didn't know you had to pay at the register. It would have been nice to have been told that by the server instead of waiting for a bill that would never arrive.
Couple of things to work on but otherwise a fantastic please to eat.
This place will satisfy your hunger, for sure! I've only been there one time--passing through--but it looks like they have a buffet every day. A salad bar and a hot food buffet. The night I was there the hot buffet was broasted chicken and seafood. The chicken was really good. The fish, meh, but seriously...it is the middle of a landlocked state! Both types of fish I tried were a bit chewy. Ok, but still, I have NO DOUBT 99% of what you might order or have on the buffet/salad bar will be delicious! And save room for the pie. Oh, the pie! I had coconut cream pie with almost 2 inch meringue! The list of available pies was probably pushing 20 types! The service was delightful. My waitress was Ashley and she was diligent and very warm toward everyone. I can't wait until I am in the neighborhood again!
It's a very friendly place and the food is good. I had the Liver and onions it came with 1 trip to the salad bar.. The liver was delicious and so tinder was able to use my fork to cut it, it had just the right amount of crispiness on the edges.. ❤
Love this place good old fashioned cooking, delicious chicken. Love their brown gravy. Breakfast all day and great prices!
Food was excellent and service was awesome always enjoy this restaurant.
We were driving down the highway and my wife said that sounds like an interesting place for lunch. I'm glad we stopped. Reminded me of the dinners of my childhood, good food and friendly service. We had the chicken dinner which was very good and you can't beat the price, the meal for 2 of us with drinks came to less than $20. My only regret is that we didn't order pie, but we were too stuffed
The chicken fried steak is my favorite.Every time I'm in the area I just have to stop and eat there. Been eating there off and on for 15 years . Great family business. And I can always count on it tasting just as good as the last meal I had there.And every now and then I will have the burger and fries just like old school taste. The waitress and staff are always so so friendly and the food is ALWAYS so good.Hiw could you not want to leave a large tip. Also try there steaks to they are a nice size portion of meat and always so tender.Next time your heading to the lake or near by and ready for lunch or just diving down the highway Don't forget to stop by and have a bite to eat.
