Awesome hidden breakfast place. Good food, friendly service. Small eating room but get there on less busy time is excellent.
Definitely divey little breakfast spot. The food was decent as expected. The service left a little something yo be desired. No personality or warmth at all. The place could use a remodel or at the very least a deep clean. The poor little sheer curtains have probably never been washed. Lots of stuff everywhere which doesn't appear to be dusted or cleaned regularly. Again the food was decent but just felt dirty and divey.
This little dinner in Ocean City MD. is a jewel. This dinner has been family owned for over 30 years. The food is fantastic, the staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and quaint, and the prices for the amount of food are very reasonable.
If you are craving some good, down-home cooking, the Breakfast Cafe is where you want to go.
1st time customer turned into a lifetime customer. Great food, good prices, and fast service. My kids said it was the best restaurant ever and we should give them a zillion stars. Our waitress was amazing. Thank you for an awesome experience.
1st timers. Went because a lot of other places were closed during our trip April 2024. It's very small, and you walk into what turns out to be a prep station, then step to the left and find 10-13 tables, Outdoor sitting is also available, weather permitting. Decor is old-fashioned but cozy. Prices seem to be reasonable to other reviewers, but $60 includes tips for 2 breakfast sandwiches, one bagel; one white toast, 2 piece French toast and a scrambled egg with toast for our kids is crazy to me. 4.25 for a small OJ...
No kids menu. Clearly.
I really like to support a small biz but feel it's overpriced...it was off season. Restroom was not used during our visit.
Outside is deceiving.It's large inside, quite a bit of seating.
But more importantly the food and the speed of the service is exceptional.
A really nice little breakfast place. I love places like this. Only wish they had iced coffee and fresh oatmeal. But, I had a nice eggs, sausage, toast breakfast. Definitely a keeper when I'm in the area.
The Breakfast Cafe is a cool little place in Ocean City. I really wasn't sure what to expect here but overall I wasn't impressed. I had the crab omelette. The crab wasn't great. It didn't seem fresh to me but instead the entire thing anyway. The place is somewhat filthy. The floors look like they haven't been swept for a while. Only thing I really liked was my service. The waitress was very friendly but couldn't explain what was on the menu when asked. This was the first time I had cream chip beef, which is essentially sausage gravy without the sausage add beef. She should have been able to tell me that but said she didn't know because she never tried it.
