‼️(Only gave it 5 stars so people could see this post.)‼️ If you are a female please be careful in this bar. I visited from Indianapolis and one of my friends got roofied. Then we got a call later on that someone else got roofied later that night after we had left. If I didn’t call 911, my friend could have ended up dead. The doctors and nurses said my friends alcohol level was fine. But she was definitely drugged. They questioned if it was the bartender from that night but I don’t believe it was. But someone in there is drugging people. So be safe people.
The last time we were in there, it's was almost 85 in the bar. I am not sure if the A/C was broken or if they just didn't turn it on. It was definitely too hot to enjoy a beer in there at the time.
Had burger, fries and 2 beers. Wife had a fish sandwitch all good for 15.00 barely can eat that cheap at home these days.
Ran out of chicken, get this, the boss gave me his that he was planning to take home !!!! Nice guy !!!
Fun bar to listen to jukebox and socialize with the locals. Good bar food as well. Drinks are very well priced.They just started making pizzas. Was here for the first night of pizza and it is awesome. Different food specials depending on the day of the week. Friendly bartenders. Try it at least once then decide for yourself.

From my experience, bartender was very open about beliefs and not people friendly. Traveling through the area the bartender was not welcoming to individuals she did not know.
After my experience, I highly recommend other establishments in the Tell City area.
We had a great time at Braunie's! Our group of 5 ladies walked in and immediately were welcomed like we were family. Ironically one of our group happened to come across a distant cousin in the group of local patrons! Please stop by Braunie's if you're in Tell City and enjoy the vibe of a classic bar, good food, and great company!
Great atmosphere and staff. Best burgers in town. I especially appreciate Brandy who delivered on my request to put "just way too much pickles" on my burger.
