Best WLM Reviews

This place doesn't deserve five stars.... THEY DESERVE AN INFINITE AMOUNT OF STARS! As a trucker, I've been to many, and I mean many little "hole-in-the-wall" shops across this county. Nothing pales in comparison to Brandin' Iron! The inside of this place just makes you feel as if you're in the old midwest. Service was beyond great! And the food.... I can't even describe how good, how delicious, how amazing it was! Well, I could, but Google might take down my review. ???? I will definitely be back here again!!!
I was visiting family from out of town & they took us here! Great place. Historic building is awesome! Decorations are also very impressive! Quite a large choice of menu options. The staff was super friendly & the food was good! Definitely give it a try!
my wife and I got the prime rib and it was good, but the sides were below average. That might seem petty, but for premium prices I expect premium product. Waitress was friendly, but no overly helpful. All and all average, but expensive.
The spacious and welcoming restaurant is on the first floor of a grand 1884 three-story native limestone Opera House. Windmill blades rotating slowly on the high ceiling add to the charm and history of this delightfully fun restaurant. A great menu, a full bar, and a witty/enjoyable wait staff all combined to provide an experience well worth the drive to this 151-year old former railroad town at the junction of US 50 & US 77. Our table enjoyed the Steak and Blue Salad; the Apple and Cranberry Salad with grilled chicken, pecans and herbed goat cheese; and burgers served with fries and an especially delicious house-made pasta salad. We will return! Check out the limestone houses on 8th Street.
Great food, great service and great atmosphere! My husband had a good steak, and I really enjoyed my burger and fries. I even forgot my purse while we were there and the owner met me after hours the next day so I could get it.
Great little local restaurant! Locally sourced beef!
Great atmosphere in a historic setting
Excellent food. I had the salmon with potatoes and a salad. The salmon was excellent with a very rich flavor. There was some garlic butter provided for the rolls as well that was delectable.
Food was great, server was great as well! Would recommend this place to anyone and would go back again. The menu photos I added were as of August 12, 2023.
