I gotta say, since I moved , I was afraid I wasn’t gonna find a good mechanic in town or that had scamming issues. But I’m so glad to have found Brakes & More. I got my my brakes & rotors in & they finished in less then an hr & today I got my struts done. The owner david, son & workers have been great communicators & will answer any questions if needed as well as good pricing. I will be returning.
SCAM. I went to get my timing belt replaced and they installed it wrong,it still made a sound and went again and they did the same thing, replaced a fuel pump wich was unnecessary and lied to me saying my engine is leaking and needed to be taken apart 2000$+ without labor included. I decided to look for a reliable mechanic that told me they installed the timing belt wrong; easily known to any mechanic since the engine cover did not fit well and that they had overtightened my oil cap. I don't know much about cars but my reliable mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the car just scummy mechanics.
A few years ago, my longtime, trusted mechanic retired. I have been so hesitant to find a new one, but Stevie at Brakes N’ More was great. He shot me straight about what was needed now and what could wait. He even figured out some mistakes done by another place that were causing me issues. He was patient and answered all my questions. My car is running better now than I thought was possible for this old gal.

Brakes N More did a fantastic job on my brakes. I thought I just needed front brakes but after a test drive, they pulled a front and back tire to show me I needed both. My car has been driving perfect ever since. I highly recommend.
In town from Dallas and had front brake pads changed before heading to San Marcos. I noticed some grinding by the time I arrived, and stopped into Brakes N’ More. One of my pads was installed incorrectly at the shop in Dallas! The guys at Brakes N’ More were extremely helpful correcting the error and getting me back on the road. Very much appreciated, and if I was a local they would have earned by brake businesses moving forward.
I had no truck forn6 months Brakes n more took it in the shop for one day and fixed it up fast. So glad I checked them out!! Thanks guys.
