This was my 10 yrolds first time getting her hair braided. Coumbra and staff are so polite and wonderfully talented hard working women! My daughter looks beautiful. They do amazing work and fast!
Hmm, 1 star these women are running a business and have to make a living. Payment to me should always be cash obviously if you can't always come with extra they work hard that job is not easy and they make you look and feel amazing when they're done.. When you change your energy and show more appreciation for things in life. Encounters or situations with others will be easier to handle.
This is my first time getting braids it came out wonderful I can't stop loving it they were so sweet she did it so quickly I love it!!!
Coumba and Aby did my hair so fast and it wasn’t too tight. I got small ombré knotless braids and it came out a nice and neat. Coumba was very sweet and ABY was so fast on the top of my head I didn’t even realize it was done. I will be back in a few months!! I love it here!!! They take cash app, Navy fed, Zelle, cash etc. it was well worth it and not too packed. I brought my own hair and they were butt length too for under 300.00! No deposit just walked in.
I don’t care where you go. I do not go to this place. I’ve been here several times only because I’m pregnant and it’s right down the street each time is the worst experience before the prices are constantly changing and growing up. She charged me $220 for a style that should not have cost that much. It was a lot simpler than the box braids with curly human hair leave out she charge the other young lady she gave a lot of reasons why and told me my hair was more work when she had three people working on the other young ladies head who was also there and halfway done before me and left only 30 minutes prior to me. I really love to support black businesses but I can’t do this go anywhere but here and I still have bits and pieces of my hair sticking out. Let’s be real it’s the holidays and she only had two people in her chairs. Braid shops are usually packed around this time.
I paid for me & my granddaughter to get 2 braids. Not only do I feel like she charged me too much, but the braids in both our heads looks horrible. You can see our hair sticking through the weave, the braids looks like they been in for days but we got it done yesterday morning. The only good thing was she was able to take us last minute, we were the first one's to get our hair done so it's not like she was tired of braiding for the day. I will NEVER go there again, so disappointing. Oh & I used my own hair, not her hair.
I'm 8.5 months pregnant . Went here to get my hair done for delivery && the manager was trying to detain me because my payment said "pending . Merchant needs to finalize payment." She never said there was a $3 fee for swiping a card . I used my Cashapp card so I only put up $150 because she said that was how much it cost . So she was running my card for $153 . So I'm front of customers she was being very rude to me, raising her voice && just plain embarrassing me saying my card Jerod declining. She asked for my license to keep it but I'M PREGNANT, again, I'm not driving anywhere without it. She wasn't even the one who did my hair && made me pay for it in cash because the payment wasn't received according to her . So I had to walk to food Lion with my hair halfway done because she wouldn't let the lady finish it !! Horrible customer service from the manager/owner . Never going back && she was a recommendation on top of that . I will never return. && that's unfortunate because her staff is awesome && is there day && night according to other customers. She blamed me for her being late to her appointment because she wouldn't leave until she received some form of payment .
I went to BRAIDS R US 4 weeks ago & got individual crochet faux locs done!! I made an appointment for today to o go backs there to get them remove. When I called I was told it would be $50, then today the price changed to $60 when I called to confirm my appointment time and spoke to the owner Coumba . I really wanted to get them taken out so I proceeded with getting it done!! Then halfway through my hair it became $80 absolutely ridiculous!! But the real reason why I’m writing this review is because in the process of taking out the locs Coumba CUT a CHUNK if my hair out in the front & she did not say anything until I realized it at the end. I was so furious ???? & she tried to deny it acting shock. She might not have done it my mistake but she should have told me right when it happened.. I will never return to this UNPROFESSIONAL OVERPRICED place to waste my money!! HORRIBLE SERVICE ????????
I love my hair they did a wonderful job I recently cut my hair and they were able to catch up my hair no braids came out I will be back. I wasn't feeling well and the staff made sure I was ok offered me food and water very patient and kind.
