I scheduled myself for micro-braids. I was told when I got there my hair was too long. However, noone mentioned a length requirement when I made my appointment. So she told me she could do small box braids similar to micro braids. I said ok I don't want it heavy and I must be able to put in a ponytail. That is the main way I wear my hair. She assured me that I would be able to. Someone walked in so my initial braided was changed and the new lady made my braids too big. So they attempted to balance it. But it was t I o much hair and too many braids. So I took some out they were noticeable big. And she did redo them but my braids were still 3 different sizes. I paid 240$ for initial service and 40$for the redo of 1 section. Here we are 3 weeks later I have to take these out because they are too heavy and hurt my neck. I call to see how much to remove what I never requested anyway. They say 60$ more. I would not recommend going to this place seems they do do what style and size they want and not what you ask for.
Asked for small and they went big on braids in back where i could not see it and when i looked I was like No!. Was not neat and said it was my fault because I was holding my brains to my scalp. I walked out. Do not recommend!

This is not the place to go to to rely on an appointment. I kept trying to give him a chance however, each time I go, there is a problem. It can be not being on time or the little boy in the playpen running around and hitting you or them taking breaks to eat…
It is always something, I have dealt with Serafina for years. This is becoming the normal with hair briaders. Guessing they don’t have anyone to answer to anyone so they will treat you any kind of way. With that being said they have definitely lost a long time customer. Sarafina should not them unsupervised they do not run a business well when she is not there, very unprofessional…
My micro braids are amazing just like they were the last time. They lady with the beautiful baby boy did my braids. She made every braid count. I’m definitely coming back to get my hair Re braided. This business helps alleviate stress when it comes to me and my hair.
5 stars. Clean environment, professional, in and out within hours and paying a little extra was well worth it all. My knotless braids lasted through vacation swimming & I washed my scalp multiple times. I will definitely be back.

I NEVER do reviews but I had to do this for anyone who is considering going to this place.
I had previously booked an appt. in Greensboro. Unfortunately, there was a COVID situation going on with the stylist so she canceled the appt. I was empathetic and frantic because I was heading to Mexico in a few days and needed my hair braided. Everybody was booked except SARAFINA.
They told me they had a 1:00 opened on the next day and when I asked about pictures of their work she (the owner) said she would be happy to show me.
**Appt. Day (the worst day of 2021so far)**
12:40 - Owner calls and asked if I was still coming. I confirmed and said I’d be there at 1:00 as we previously discussed. She then asked me to come at 2:00 because she was running behind.
2:00 - I arrive. There are 3 hair braiders (including the owner) working on 3 heads. There’s no way I was getting waited on at 2:00. When I asked what time she would be ready she said in 30 minutes but promised 2 people would work on my head.
2:30 - Still waiting
3:45 - 1 person starts on my head. A second person jumped on 30 minutes later then stopped.
They continually stopped to eat, talk, and play with and feed the baby of one of the hair braiders.
5:00 - A little girl comes in for her appt. so I was asked to move to the braider who previously stopped on my head so the little girl could get her hair done
This lady braided my hair so tight it is ridiculous. She pulled and yanked on my head continuously and when I asked her nicely to stop, she looked at me like I was crazy, went to another section and came back to that section and was rough again. Mind you, I’m not even tender headed.
There’s so much more I can say, but just take my word for it and choose somewhere else. After all of the waiting I did to get serviced, they still charged me full price.
I didn’t leave until 10:45 PM
I went and got my hair braided. So I had too much of my edges out and went back the next day. Serafina told me I didn’t have to pay seeing how it wasn’t even 24 hours. I go abs the darker skin woman told me that I had to pay her 35 dollars. Then she pulled my hair extremely hard. Have never been back. Keep in mind they told me one price then when I was done it was another.
