Bennie and another Stylist did my Daughters hair for the first time. As soon as we walked in the door, they started right away on her hair. I told Bennie my Daughter didn’t want the braids to tight and they done exactly as I asked. My Daughter loved her Knotless Braids and so did I. We will continue to go back, as I asked Bennie to be my Daughters stylist. Thanks again to Bennie and her other Stylist for doing a great job..????????????????????????

I just want to say I love this woman so much she takes her time to do your hair. You have to tell her exactly what you want, and she will take care of you. If what you choose is not healthy for your hair, or if you're unsure ask her she will let you know. I just appreciate her and her employees so much, they've been doing I and my daughter's hair for the last 10 years. Also I keep going back because she's growing my hair and my daughter's hair (with the hair grease that she sells I use it faithfully). They do not bring your edges out and this woman genuinely cares. If for any reason I just necessarily have to leave and do something important, I feel absolutely comfortable leaving my baby there for a few hours, because I know they're going to take care of her like she is their own. The ladies always do me right when I visit. They are always on time. I bring my own hair because I am sensitive so I have to wash it first. Bennie was kind and polite when I asked her how many packs I would need for the style I wanted. I am tender headed, so I ask them not to braid tightly and to leave the edges alone. Wonderful work. I get compliments on my hair and everyone asks who did it.
They tend to speak in their language all the time. But it doesn’t bother me. I just bring earphones and listen to an audiobook. I noticed other customers bringing their earphones too. I am not one for chit chat anyways.

Also, everyone is wearing a mask during your hair appointment and they are practicing hand hygiene and social distancing. I will be back.
I just recently got my hair done. My hair looks great. I wouldn’t say I had the best experience. The ladies are not very personable at all, and only speak to you when you get there and when they are ready for you to pay. They don’t ask you if you would like to watch something on tv or what type of music you like, they just go about their business as if you aren’t even in the room. I think what was really disappointing is that people of other cultures assume that you can’t understand their language, however my mother is Nigerian. And I found it very disrespectful that the lady spent 20m complaining about how she didn’t like the color of hair that I had chosen because it matched my skin tone and it wasn’t going to look right. When professionally all she had to do was offer another suggestion. For me I don’t understand the disconnect that they seem to have with black Americans it’s sad because we are all the same people and there is no need for this type of treatment. To me the service was the equivalent to when dealing with the Asians.
Bedsides that price point was fine. They are relatively fast for the time that I got there. Again my hair looks good, and is neat. I have no complaints there. But unfortunately I will not be returning. I have no interest in spending money with anyone who cannot even bother to ask me how my day is going or how I am doing. That’s just basic customer service. But to each it’s own. For some people it’s not a big deal. However for me it’s a deal breaker.
I’ve been going to Bennie Braids on and off 3 years and absolutely love my hair every time. I let them know exactly what I want and always leave happy they make sure I do. They seem to be genuine in giving me actually what I want. Staff extremely friendly and they show good movies while they work lol... wish I could post a pic
