Used to come to this place on my days off 20 years ago , I recently came back to Los Angeles to visit family and stop there to eat and food was the same quality I remember, fair prices and fast service, highly recommended!
Have been coming here since i was a kid and they're still as good as it was then. Same atmosphere same people. Good food and good memories.
I use to like coming here for the chicken dinner, but they lost their credibility. They be refrying the chicken. Got into it w/ the owner ( the older white lady) because I requested fresh chicken. She said the chicken was fresh, I asked how long it’s been sitting and she said 20 mins. Twenty minutes is not fresh. I told her I was ok w/ waiting she was obstinate about cooking me fresh chicken, she did it eventually because she had a full house. They lost a loyal customer that’s been coming here since childhood and I’m sure they noticed their sales went down due to their lack of effort. Never spending money here again.

I used to love this place so much especially there chili cheese fries . But now they are not the same any more . I think It might the new Staff , I went in today asked for my usual chili cheese fries and extra cheese , went in to pay I seen them making the order they forgot the extra cheese , and also I payed attention to how much chili the worker put . I was shocked , the guy pretty much gave me a soup of chilli . It's insane the guy put a ton of chili like more then extra chili .. my fries were soaked in chili no cheese .
The food is great and very affordable. The food portions are very large and I have never been able to eat all the food on my plate. The employees were very kind and helpful. This place has been open for over 50 years and offers a wide variety of meals. The inside dining area is kept very clean and the tables are clean. It is located on Florence avenue in a predominantly Latino area and the three times that I have been there the atmosphere is always positive. For $15 you will get full and need a take home tray. The menu has a combination of Mexican dishes and burgers and a chicken dinner that is delicious
Good food and staff, the location a little shady...
Going to the bathroom feels like getting lost in the backrooms, my son's enjoyed that very much.
I used to get my burgers from Spartan Burger in Huntington Park because they were full of flavor and was so upset when they decided to close down that restaurant. My wife invited me to this place because she insisted that these burgers had almost the same flavor as Spartan Burger. I'm so glad I listened to her and came here.
The burgers are full of flavor and the fries are thick and seasoned well.
I'm definitely coming back here for another cheeseburger combo!
