Quaint little place that's perfect for a coffee date. Loved the location as well.
We popped in for a short time, but I would love to go back and explore all their options. We were shopping at a nearby store and decided to wander around the neighborhood when we happened upon this beautiful building. The area seems like it could get quite busy, so keep that in mind if you plan to drive and park.
Upscale coffee house. Chai tea very tasty. Drip coffee nice. Baristas were very friendly and polite. Pastries are made in house. Enjoyed their coffee cake. Plenty of seating inside and outside.
4.5, I'll come again. Though I have not been to Boulder Creek in years, since they were attached to a bookstore closer to the Mall of Georgia, Boulder Creek holds a memorable position in my craft coffee journey.
Today, I feel espresso extraction was off because the satisfaction just wasn't there.
Cortado, whole milk. The temperature was perfect. The overall amount of liquid seemed more than a double-shot cortado... So, maybe excess milk made it underwhelming, not espresso extraction.
French Toast Latte, 12oz whole milk. Great temperature. I appreciate that the sweetness was not overwhelming. I wish there was / was more coffee flavor.
Stopped in with family after an outing and thought it was neat they had a drive thru option. We ordered inside to go and received great customer service. They were definitely busy so I appreciated Alexa answering all of my questions ???? I loved the open concept and seeing the drinks being made. I ordered an iced latte with caramel and vanilla and almond milk (pics were pre swirl lol) and although it could’ve been sweeter I enjoyed it. I gave 4 stars because they didn’t have cold foam or whipped cream. My boyfriend and cousin both ordered the Creek Breeze drinks (tea, refresher style drinks) that were a 10/10. Both drinks pictured are their smallest size (12 oz.).
The space is welcoming and they have free wifi. I saw groups of people chatting and individuals working and it was more spacious than expected (we didn’t even climb the stairs)!
A coffee shop located in downtown Lawrenceville. I've been in Historic Lawrenceville plenty of times, even was a server at Universal Joint, a burger bar just around the corner. Meet with a coworker over coffee to catch up on life. The place itself is very relaxing. The business is in a historic home preserved & transformed into a neat homie coffee shop. It's a weekday when I came here. Families, kids, and young adults seems to be the majority of the customer. Really interesting place.
This a nice place to study or do what ever work you have to do. Lots of space to plug your laptop. The coffee is pretty good also. If area is have a festival then parking will be very hard since the parking deck are limited .
Solid food, service and location. Tried the avocado toast and the mocca drink, both were solid. Also tried a latte with caramel and there was a taste that was flowery and i particularly did not enjoy. I really like the lighting. It's got a really nice porch for those who like to sit outside.
Fabulous place to dine, get coffee and get work done! I’ve been coming to this place for over five years since it was at the Mall of Georgia location and I must say they have definitely improved the location. It has a really nice feel to it! I think the house was built in the late 1890s if I remember correctly and has a very vintage feel to it. The staff is always open and friendly (please see photos), they love what they do, and you’re not treated like a number, sadly the experience most of the time at Starbucks. The baristas know their stuff and are trained well. The place is almost always packed and many many many regulars are there on a regular basis. (No pun intended). You go long enough, the place feels like home! You can’t get that feeling at your local Starbucks. The coffee is always a cut above most of the other independent coffee shops as well. Everyone has their own preferences but to me, there really is no comparison (I personally recommend the vanilla latte) and the menu is also very eclectic and extensive. They have a grilled chicken parmesan marinara sandwich they referred to as The Godfather and it is unbeatable! Better marinara sauce than any legitimate Italian restaurants that I’ve been to and that’s saying something! Even better food than Panera bread and American deli! (More of a variety as well.) Perhaps even better than that is their Friday night entertainment. Local artists such as Rebecka Moreno among many others got their start at this very place! This coffee shop is not the number one coffee shop in Gwinnett for nothing!
