Wonderful staff who go above and beyond to have a chat with you and to connect with you on a personal level. Very dog friendly - they adore dogs which is always an added bonus for me. Coffees and pastries are amazing. Their almond croissant is a personal favourite ❤️
I travel a lot different parts of London. Tried coffee and a cake from this café bakery establishment. The cake looked amazing, but was a disappointment. Given that the cake looked great, I expected the coffee to be a hit. Sadly the coffee had a dull taste, sharp like tree branch. It complimented the overall sweet tasteless cake, that is dressed to impress, but is a complete let down. Was stung for £8. Truth is the cake and coffee wasn't worth £3.50 combined. I would have better enjoyed a McDonalds' coffee and one of their appeal pies to be honest. I don't mind paying more for quality, but the coffee and cake I was served fell short. Way too short.
We’ve been a bit quiet recently whilst we manoeuvred through two house moves and a little holiday… but rest assured we were still snapping away everything we could get our weary hands on!
This was our first lunch following the move to West London and it was a beaut!! We have already been back since to try some of the other sandwiches and smoothies and needless to say it will be a regular haunt of ours going forward!!
Well priced, loads of variety and a great location (for us ????).
Used to be a friendly and vibrant place with Roy and his team, they were always welcoming and chatty. It has changed now, it is ok to grab and go (their almond croissants are the best in the area). Even staff in Gail’s is much nicer than the new crew here.
Loved this spot visited for brunch and the food was delicious
My local is a branch in Chiswick, was in the area and popped in to this one as I prefer Curious Roo coffee which they serve. Didn’t realise they have a kitchen so ordered eggs Benedict, was delicious. Service was quick and coffee was great.
My wife and I have been going here for many months and several times a week, even since the number of bakeries on Askew Road has steadily increased. We find the products to be okay (Pastries are great, the sandwiches are a bit boring) but it’s the service that keeps us coming back. The Portuguese barista has a fantastic customer service mentality and is the soul of this place! Without him, this is just another bakery.
