My recent visit to Bosphorus was nothing short of spectacular. We ordered the special, a feast featuring every perfectly cooked meat imaginable, accompanied by delicious rice and a fresh, crisp salad. The meal began with a hummus plate, which was creamy, rich, and bursting with authentic flavors. Paired with warm, freshly baked pita bread, it set the stage for the culinary delights to follow. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a refreshing orange tea.
The atmosphere at Bosphorus was warm and inviting, enhanced by the Turkish souvenirs and the attentive and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Their excellent service was the perfect complement to the outstanding food.
In summary, Bosphorus is a gem that offers an exceptional dining experience. We will definitely return to enjoy more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended!
I could not say better things about this place. It’s a small, 4 table hidden gem in Denver. The hummus is to die for, all the meals are large for the price, and the baklava is the best I’ve had in a long time. I come here every time I’m in the area. Highly recommend
Nice little Turkish eatery in Englewood. The owner offered me a complimentary cup of Turkish tea while I waited for my lunch order. Nice gesture, especially considering how tasty the brew was. I had to get back to work, so I took it to go and could hardly wait to get there because the smell of the seasoning mixed with cooked meat wafting up from the container made my mouth water. I had the Bosphorus combination with rice, and it was really good. The portion size was huge, and they do not skimp on meat here. I'm 6'2" 235 and couldn't polish off the rice because the protein was so plentiful. For a man my size, that's what I look for in a lunch spot. I'll be back for lunch again!
10/10 would recommend! We both had the chicken pita sandwich with rice, and of course some baklava for dessert. The chicken was SO flavorful and yummy, great portion sizes and the service was spot on. The place is pretty small, so we took our food to go, but the man taking our order was super friendly and offered us some tea (pictured) while we waited for our order. Will definitely be back
I went here when I was serving here almost a year ago. I loved the food! It was the best gyro I've ever had! I later went again and tried their big plate of food.
It's a higher end restaurant in terms of cost, so keep that in mind.
The Staff were also really kind to us missionaries! It was so sweet!
The fried eggplant appetizer is very tasty! It has no breading and a great texture. For dinner, we ordered the special, which had a lot of different meats, all of which were super tender—like “fall off the bone” good.
The prices were great too, especially considering the big portions! I would’ve just added a bit more salt/seasoning to the eggplant and meat. But definitely planning to return!
I'm so glad I found this little gem of a restaurant. The people here are so welcoming, and the food is delicious. We were fortunate enough to be here on a night they had the special going on, so we did a platter for two and a hummus plate. It was so much food, and every bite was amazing. The baklava was very tasty, worth it even after being so full from the meal.
Flavor in every bite. Juicy and tender meats. Hummus just the right consistency and fluffy-firm pita bread. Now I understand why this establishment has many awards. Lastly, the house staff are welcoming and down to Earth - Felt like I was back in Turkiye.
p.s. pro tip - mix a bit of hummus with your rice, place that on your pita, splash it with bit of hot sauce, place your meat on top, squeeze a strip of tzatziki on the meat, add olive, peppercini, tomato, romaine lettuce to preference, then take a healthy bite :)
