Best WLM Reviews

I will never have to question who I take my heads to. John is fantastic! He offers prices that are beyond fair for the level of quality work he provides. He also answered all the questions I had with clarity and a smile. Without a doubt an invaluable resource to the automotive community.
I called all over to find someone to replace all the intake valves on a ccta vw cylinder head and nobody would touch it. John was very helpful and had the head done for me in just over a week! Happy with the work and quality and turn around time! All in all 5 stars and he will be my go to for machine work from here on out. I will actually be bringing him another ccta head with the same problem this coming week and know I'll be in good hands.
My first experience removing and rebuilding a motor. John was always willing to take the time to answer my questions and give me good guidance. Considering how busy the shop is they were able to get my h22 head and block done in a resonable amount of time. I felt I got good value for the cost of the work that was done and would 100% use them again.
Really good machine shop for engine work. Don't be in a hurry because like any great craftsman, his is a dying art and he is working alone. His work is worth the wait.
Had an engine build in process way to long. I understand u lost help and some things r uncontrollable, but u don't communicate very well. For awhile I had no idea what was going on, and was surprised when I found out. Also very short on the phone and hangup quick. Always an excuse or something different when I call. I can't even get a time frame for when the engine would be done. Going on 8 months now!
Got my Subaru block rebuilt here 3 years ago and it's been running like a champ under high boost. So far 30k miles in and doing well
I had to replace king pins in an older truck. I just needed the old bushings pressed out of the spindles and new bushings installed and reamed. I picked up the spindles and discovered after I got home that the grease cap threads on both spindles were destroyed. It's a shame since I have more machine work to do on the engine build, but I need to find another shop. Would not recommend this place.
Chose Bo's Machine Shop LLC on a friend’s recommendation and had the engine sent to him on a Monday morning. John was extremely helpful through the entire process and constantly kept me updated. Prior to the engine arriving he was very clear with the timeline that he needed to rebuild the engine. He told me that he needed it for approximately 10 business days, which was quick enough for me. John talked over all the options that were available for my engine until I was comfortable with the power output and the price point for my rebuild.
The engine went to him as a tired and crusted 52 year old engine and came back as a strong running brand new looking piece of machinery. There were some internal pieces that caused some concern for John as he was working on the engine. He called me up and gave me multiple options to resolve the issue. Overall, John kept his timeline (only took 9 days) and delivered sound performance to me for a price that I was happy with. The engine was visually appealing and also very clean. I am impressed with John and his team’s work and would recommend Bo's Machine Shop LLC to others.
