Best WLM Reviews

This was my first time trying food prepared this way, and it's very different from other Korean restaurants. On my initial visit, I found the staff friendly and the ambiance pleasant. The food was enjoyable, especially the combination of veggies with barley rice and sesame oil. The pancake and chicken perilla seed porridge stood out as highlights. The set menu offers a substantial amount of food. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would recommend this place.
This is heaven for vegetarians/pescatarians. We got the set menu - 25 different dishes that all told and everything tasted so good. Not heavily spiced or salted, very clean eating. The roe, snail, and crab cakes were delicious!!! Incredibly sweet crew and explained what everything is. Fun atmosphere, have their own huge parking lot for the plaza which is so rare in ktown! A great birthday meal.
Overall the meal was good but nothing special. As a korean it was kinda similar to the random assortment of stuff chucked into a bibimbap at a church lunch iykyk LOL
Th best part was probably the perilla chicken porridge. The marinted pork ribs are a NO for me they are not marinated long enough so only the exterior is coated in sauce and th inside is dry and flavorless.
Also the table got way full and 복잡해. Probably will not come again but glad i tried it at least once. Like. Its not bad. Its just nothing special. I appreciated the dessert though. Didnt appreciate the tone of the waitress with a lot of makeup, really pedantically switching to english to then explain the dishes very slowly even though im fluent in korean, and was in fact there with my parents and sister lol.
First time here and I loved it! The staff was so kind and patient and explained their course menu. They took the time to nicely explain each of the dishes and how to eat them. Delicious and healthy, country-style Korean food. You can ask for more barley rice (we didn't but we observed several tables doing so). Free parking in the parking lot on the back side of the restaurant.
Great korean food. Menu was short and straightforward, but all the dishes on their set menu were flavorful and tasty.
This was an enjoyable dining experience where they just give you a whole bunch of options to put on your rice and all of them were good. Mix your own rice bowl with their plethora of vegetables.
I also liked the side salad but especially liked the Pork Ribs. Slightly spicy and very asian. Worth a try. Pricey but has large servings.
Food was good. Yes i might bring my salt if I go back next time lol
Food was all and all great and variety was amusing.
You eat not only with the mouth but also with your eyes.
It was bit crowded for a small table for four people. Just had to keep arranging the dishes as more foods were coming out.
Only thing was the noorunggi was not served real hot and it was bit hard to chew as an appetizer.
Service was wonderful, parking was easy and free. (Went on Sunday night)
Always a peaceful welcoming environment, greeted with lovely smiles and calm music. Food is always excellent. I enjoy the LA Beef Rib but the Pork Rib is also great. Highly recommend if you’re craving some quality Korean food.
I stumbled upon Borit looking for a healthy and original Korean country-style spot, and it didn't disappoint! Formerly known as something else, the new establishment has a fantastic old-country ambience adorned with beautiful paintings. Despite a 15-minute wait on a busy Saturday afternoon, the barley rice set with an assortment of side dishes, soups, and stew made it worthwhile. The flavors were spot-on – not too salty, just right for a well-being meal. I opted for the sizzling kalbi, and while the flavor was excellent, the meat was a bit on the tougher side. Our server, however, was incredibly attentive with a warm smile. If you're craving something on the healthier side, Borit is a must-try. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
