Owner was very nice and cooked us up a great breakfast. I had the country omelet and the wife had a sausage egg and cheese biscuit. Both were very good!
Pretty view, nice porch with comfortable booths outdoors. Nice server. Average, tasty food. Yummy fried okra! Nice place to stop along a lovely mountain cruising route. Close to the road and easy to find.
Bootlegger Grille, Suches GA I wish I would have taken a picture of our food. We stopped for lunch, not expecting to much from a town that has 2 restaurants. What a fantastic experience. The food was outstanding. I didn't leave even a small French fry on my plate. The soup was soooo good, and the hamburger tasted, do I dare say it, one of the best I've had! We had a great chat with Bobby the owner, he's awesome. The moonshine picture was a part of the decoration on the wall, I thought was cool.
On your way through Suches? MAKE A STOP! This place is great. The owner is so kind and boy can he cook. The Reuben had smoked meat on it and everything hot, fresh and HUGE portion. When I say famous Cole slaw, believe it! Mac and cheese is a must too. Make it a point to stop here if you're anywhere near the area.
Very nice hard working people serving honoust food. Their bandana cream pie is fingerlicking good.
The food here was AMAZING!!!! We had a large group so we ordered various foods... the fries were perfect, the brisket was second to NONE, pork belly blt was wonderful, BBQ cheese fries were delicious, kids got pizza and it was perfect, the best, though, was the brisket Philly!!! Best food I've had in YEARS!!! THIS IS A MUST TRY!!! You won't regret it!!!
Had zero expectations, we were just needing food. From the moment we walked in we were well cared for. The food was fresh, hot with so wonderful flavors.
Buy you some cupcakes, it helps pay for Courtney’s college fund, you won’t be disappointed they are delicious.
The food here was much better than I had expected. My boyfriend got the fried Chicken which was quite good. I got the pulled pork sandwich which was okay. It definitely wasn't barbecue pork, probably slow cooker cooked but yummy. And the bread could have been toasted as it got pretty soggy from the meat and the meat was not hot. Regardless, it was tasty. The atmosphere of the restaurant left a lot to be desired. Kind of felt like I was in someone's backyard dilapidated trailer having lunch. There were ceiling tiles that looked water damaged and dirty. There was no theme or decor perse. But the food was decent and the service was great. It would be nice to see them spend some money and time making the place feel like an actual bootleggers back room. Maybe with some fun decor and atmosphere.
