A spur of the moment stop turned out to be a pleasant dining experience at the Boomarang Diner in Bethany. A nostalgic atmosphere lends to making ordering burgers like a trip down memory lane.
A double burger with all the trimmings - lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickle, mustard and mayo was delightful and filling.
Fries and onion rings were very good.
Steak sandwich was burnt. Service was really slow. Fries under cooked.
Looking for a relaxed, tasty spot for lunch? This is it! Such a nicely decorated diner, loved looking at all the pics on the wall. The service was great, our waitress was so beyond kind and helpful! And the food was very good. Tried multiple items, such as the fried pickles, cheese curds, and burger and they were all great. They even give you a bottle of ranch dressing to have on the table, which is a must have for me, haha! Definitely will stop by again.
The food is good. The employees are nice. I enjoy coming here with my family and boyfriend. Sometimes service can be slow depending on the server but it's not to bad especially because the foods good and always hot and the people are cool.
Food was good service was lacking a bit, younger girl waited on us let the drinks run out and had the cook bring our food maybe they were busy but she seemed to not want to wait on us . I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but the vibe seemed like it. Everyone else to me personally seems like they were priority. Our 1st visit not bad not great.
Went on Friday night for all you can eat catfish, and they did not disappoint. They kept the food coming hot and fresh. It was outstanding.
But even better than the food was the service. There were 2 young waitresses handling the entire restaurant, and they didn't miss anything. They just did the most amazing job. ????
Good food and nice waitress. The all you can eat Catfish Dinner special on Friday is a great deal. The hushpuppies and cole slaw were good, too. The cup of tea had good taste along with good tasting onion rings and fries. The chicken fried steak was good, too. Will go back when on that side of town.
I came on a busy Friday night to try out their burgers and shakes. Their chocolate shake was really good and so was their patty melt burger. Jessica was a wonderful waitress And the staff were very friendly
