Best WLM Reviews

This is a one of a kind restaurant, there isn't no other restaurant in any other state like this one, if you want to go here, you have to come here like you mean it. It's in Rogersville, Alabama. Seriously, go here.
Atmosphere: Now I don't have any particular order of whether I wanna do atmosphere, service, or food first but I'll do this one. When entering, it seemed small and that it was, not too many people as expected from a Friday. I would assume that weekends are more busier, especially in the mornings, all I know is that they close a bit later on Friday so either that day or weekends.
Service: The lady inside was actually the owner of the restaurant, been there for a couple years, was wondering where the Bonnie came from and I was like, oh that's her! Anyways, she was a real sweetheart and I felt at ease ordering on the menu and taking my time. At times, it may be slow but that's okay because it was my first time coming here and you gotta appreciate the only restaurant out here in the Kountry, heh get it? ????????
Food: About as much as I expected like from a fast food restaurant, but not anything fancy like from a family restaurant. The fries combined with the cheese, burger with everything inside, french toast with syrup, oh it is all coming together.. Can't forget the scrambled eggs with hashbrowns, needless to say they serve breakfast anytime of the day. Also I forgot, we ate hush puppies too ????
Good home cooking, large portions, great friendly service! I ordered the hungry man, i was hungry & couldn't finish it all, i tried, i needed a nap afterwards! Lol
Was led astray greatly by the stars and food pictures shown on the Google review site on this place. Walked into the empty restaurant with my daughter and granddaughter and sat ourselves down at a table and waited and waited, but no one approached us or acknowledged our presence in there even though we could see cook staff through the back kitchen cutout window cooking and talking to each other as they glanced at us off and on. I finally approached the counter and got one of their attention, and asked about wanting to eat. Was asked if I meant there, and I said yes, so they said they would let the waitress know. (We should have taken it as a sign and left.) Finally brought menu told them our drink order: 1 orange juice, 1 chocolate milk in a to go cup for granddaughter, and a water with lemon. Three simple drink orders, and it still was messed up. Took forever to have them brought to us and had to remind them that I asked for water, not coffee. Brought it away and took another 10 mins to return with water and finally ask for our orders. Waited forever and finally brought our breakfast. Parts of it were ok. Other parts were not. Had to hunt them down again for a to-go plate and our ticket to pay. I don't recommend anything here.
Lovely little restaurant. Almost like going into a time machine. It's old school and the food I to die for.
Bonnie is great! We were camping in the area for the weekend and came here twice for breakfast! Scratch cooking for an amazing price and the southern hospitality was amazing. Highly recommend for some good food.
So good and not expensive get the hungry man (or woman)
Like to support the locals. Stopped in 40 to 45 minutes before close, and the older lady was in the back part of the restaurant, just looking at me standing by register. After quite a while, she finally stood make sure to take some more drags off of her cigarette they continue to talk to whoever she was sitting by. Never came up front, never addressed me also never got my money. The state of service in some places is unbelievable. Here’s an idea, act like you want me to spend money with you not like I have to or you deserve it.
Great breakfast and top notch service. Will definitely be back.
