Talk about a diamond in the rough. Tucked away off of Clifty Drive you will find a nice little BBQ joint. The menu was diverse and well organized. I picked the Boneyard Burger and was thoroughly surprised. Tender, juicy, smoky, flavorful and saucy! It was exactly what I was looking for. This will definitely be a place we will find ourselves enjoying again. I got a porter from New Madison Brewing to wash it down.
Service is awesome food, is good steak was great, Flatbread pizza was great, huge cob salad, fried pickles good but wasn't a fan of the chili fries.
Place looks great with plenty of seating. Menu has a variety of options to satisfy and BBQ fix.
Had the ribeye, cooked med-rare, but heavy handed with the salt. Seasoned fried was good. Homemade corn taste good, little sweet, only issues it's soaked in butter and pools in the bottom.
Over all good place, I will visit to try out the burgers, they all sound delicious.
The food was great, server was super friendly and fun. Only slight downfall was that we were celebrating our daughter's bday and they talked her into a dessert "on the house". We later found that we were charged $8 for the free funnel cake fries! ????
We couldn't get our waitress to check on us at 5pm on a Sunday and had to wait over 10 minutes after finishing to get our bill. My husband and i noticed that all three wait staff we encountered were not friendly at all. The rice was undercooked and slightly crunchy and my baked potato was served to me cold, and had to be taken back to be rewarmed. The rest of our food was okay for bar food. This was our first time here and definitely our last.
First time there! The good is excellent. We had steak and pork chops. Delicious! Nice people, too.
Pros: Very good food. Cool atmosphere. Good options for kids. Friendly service. Chicken wings were great.
Cons: Somewhat false advertisement on the menu: we ordered the breaded cheese curds as an appetizer. The breading is advertised to be a "combination of beer and pretzels", but they seemed to be regular breaded cheese curds. They were good, but not what we were expecting.
Also had to wait a while to get refills on drinks.
Brought my buddy a beer he didn't order.
Everything was great overall and definitely a good variety of food to be had. Side items: garlic mashed potatoes and rice, and appetizers: jalapeno bacon poppers and onion rings were the ones I tried and all were great choices. I wasn't a fan of their sauce on the rib rack unfortunately, but the meat was very much the right consistency and doneness that is befit a good rack of ribs. Will try more things here eventually to be sure.
