Was thinking about ribs and brisket all day, so was very disappointed when they told us they were sold out of both. Decided to try a burger, and was pleasantly surprised. Good smokey flavor. The slaw was also good. The wait was a but long considering there were not a lot of people in there. Looking forward to trying the ribs and brisket someday...
The food was great but by 6 pm chicken and ribs were out. By 6:45 I went to order chicken wings they said the kitchen staff was getting ready to leave. Really at 6:45 pm they are done!
Delicious food, quick service, and totally family friendly. The owner always seems to be there and clearly knows what he’s doing. We’ve taken our picky 1 year old multiple times and the whole family has enjoyed the food and selection of sports.
It’s a great amount of food and very affordable relative to the servings. We’ll definitely be back!
We came here with our friends on 3/18/23. The sides were delicious, my personal favorite is the mac and cheese because it has a kick but not too spicy. We all ordered Ribs, and pulled pork (they were out of the brisket). The food was super tasty.
Today we decided to have lunch here and we were so happy that we came early enough for some brisket. My fiancé and I got the brisket and ribs. Our sides were Mac and cheese, fries and baked beans. The brisket tasted pretty good, until we took a bite of the fat, it was so salty! both of our pieces were super salty and messed with our palette…
Honestly I’m disappointed… we spent $50 for the two of us. The brisket ruined our meal, we weren’t able to finish our food. I thought about letting them know that the brisket was over seasoned but our stomach started to hurt and we left. Another thing the mac and cheese this time around did not have that spicy kick to it. I think that definitely elevated the flavor. Please work on your consistency, I really like eating here.
Great barbecue! Brisket was tender, a little on the dry side with a heavy bark, and super delicious. The wings were big and juicy. Barbecue sauce had great flavor and accompanied everything well. They need wetnaps though. It's kind of hard to clean sticky barbecue sauce off with dry paper towels. Staff was very friendly!
First time eating here and it was FIRE!!! RIBS & BRISKET WAS SOOOOO GOOOOOOD the collar greens was one of the best I've had around here corn bread and hush puppies were also good. I would eat here once a week if I lived closer. GREAT JOB! I'LL BE BACK!
I just traveled in from Texas & had hopes that this would be good because of the ratings. But NOPE it was disappointing! We spent $50 on a 3 meat 2 side plate with a pulled pork sandwich. The brisket was seasoned but dry, the chicken was smoked but no seasoning, the mac & cheese is dry, the BlackBerry mojito didn't taste like mojito, & you have to purchase cornbread separately! I would've given it a lower score, but the people were really nice. Be prepared to wait because speed isn't a priority.
2019 update: bbq beef brisket used to be good. Now it's like beef jerky. Dry and tough. Very sad 2017: Replaced the old Bo's BBQ... Slow service and disorganized. The food is good, but pricey and small portions
