Everything I ate was delicious!!! I had the Korean BBQ and Spicy Boneless chicken with pickled radish, Spicy Chicken fried rice, and Bulgogi fries. The portions were a good size as well. I will definitely eat here again. If you decide to sit and dine here, get here a little earlier because it does get crowded quick
Someome in our group tried the fried chicken (boneless - half and half) and that was good. It comes with a side of coleslaw too! The tteokbokki was okay (it's spicy), there aren't many special-diet options so keep that in mind and ask for what the broth is made of because most places use a beef/pok broth. Overall what we tried was good and I'd come again to try some of the other dishes that are vegetarian and gluten-free.
This was my first time trying Bonchon. I decided to try the location in Chinatown. There were four of us so we were able to try many items. Service was okay, not fantastic. Ample seating. Didn’t have to wait for a table.
-Chicken wings half soy garlic half spicy 5 - spicy had a good amount of heat surprisingly but I really loved the soy garlic. The chicken in general was not overcooked or hard. Skin was crispy and meat was moist.
-takoyaki 4 - not bad. Good price. Octopus cooked well.
-japchae 4 - surprised this costs more than the chicken katsu. Good quality but the price is a bit too much.
-pork buns 4 - good portion but the pricing is as much as the standard entrees.
-chicken katsu 5 - generous portion for the price. Perfect for sharing. Chicken was crunchy. Sauce was savory.
Stopped by to try the fried Korean chicken. The chicken was good, went with half spicy and half mild. It was a very large shareable portion. It comes with coleslaw, had to order rice separately. It was apparent the entree was lacking balance with this huge portion of protein and very little else.
Service was below average.
It was my 3rd time going here and the food is still so good. We tried out their lunch special and got chicken in their new Yum Yum Sauce flavor. Staff were super friendly & welcoming. Overall, great food & great service!
Would give 6 stars if I could for the food. Absolutely amazing texture and flavor on both the takoyaki and boneless chicken we ordered! Delicious lychee drinks! Got a mixture of spicy and soy garlic sauces on my chicken and it knocked it out of the park. Partner got chicken katsu and it has rave reviews also from them. Will definitely return someday for a delicious meal again!!
Favs in order: 1.) boneless chicken wings with soy garlic 2.) Pork Belly Bao Buns 3.) Bimibop.
Lychee Sake carafs are huge, imo.

I went to this location on 6/11/2023, it was my first time trying it after seeing it so often in Chinatown Square. I went around a hour before closing. It was pretty empty but the customer service was amazing. I ordered the wings with the flavors of soy garlic and spicy. The chicken was crispy and juicy in which I loved. I also ordered the chicken fried rice it
Was full of flavor. I will definitely be back to try again.
