This was my first time at Bon Appetit and it was an experience. I've stayed many times before at Best Western Plus in Dunedin and thought this would be a great place to have an upscale meal, steps from my hotel room. The food was alright. I really enjoyed chocolate mousse for dessert. The atmosphere inside was just okay at best. The seating would have been great; however, the blinds were covering the view of the outside dock seating area and the St. Joseph Sound. It was tight quarters for both the server and my party of 2. The service was decent; however, I think my server was annoyed with us at times. We are not accustomed to boutique; upscale restaurants and it was a bit confusing when ordering fancy named items or even knew what they were. Lots of questions and a substitution on our meal now and again. Anyway, I felt uncomfortable eating at this restaurant. If anything could go wrong, it seemed to. So, this dining experience became a learning experience, but unfortunately it was a costly one. This wasn't what I thought or hoped it could be. Live and learn, I suppose.
Beautiful waterfront restaurant with live music. Food and drinks was outstanding. Several patio spaces to eat, as well as inside dining. Beautiful view of the sunset from our table. After dinner, we listen to live music at the Marina Bar right outside…everyone had a wonderful evening.
What a nice experience. Our server,Alison H. was exceptional. She was very attentive to all of our needs.We both had the bouillabaisse,which was fantastic. We sat outside to enjoy the sunset during dinner. Again, fantastic...please don't miss this experience while in Dunedin.
Beautiful waterfront restaurant with live music. Food was outstanding. Several patio spaces to eat at as well as inside dining rooms. A menu with enough variety for everyone. Our table of four had burger, seafood, pork and pasta. Everyone was happy with their food.
We recently hosted my daughters bridal shower at Bon Appetit, and I can not express how wonderful Nancy and Nicole are to work with. They could not have been more accommodating. The staff was as also beyond wonderful, they provided us excellent service and were so very helpful in every way. All of this plus the incredible views and the food was all delicious. Our guests are still raving about the entire event. I highly recommend hosting events here, or treat yourself to a wonderful meal and experience. We will be back! Thank you Nancy and Nicole again!
I've been living in the area for 30+ years and this restaurant has always been a high-end go to for a nice meal. Excellent service very well prepared meals and a lighter Fair menu as well. I had a french onion soup which was fabulous and a sandwich called The Cure with Italian Meats. What a wonderful light Fair meal. Plenty of incredible entrees I recommend the seafood highly as Seafood is their specialty however they also have wonderful steak and duck! I should have taken pictures of the menu that would have really been helpful and will do so next time I.
Ate here for my engagement dinner. The French onion soup was some of the best I’ve ever had. The lobster tail was OK. It was a little bit chewy. The filet mignon was cooked exactly how I asked and very buttery. The squid appetizer was delicious!
Service was great. Very friendly staff. The location and atmosphere is beautiful. Would love to eat here again.
By far this is the best place I have ever been to since I moved to Clearwater ❤️???? The atmosphere is amazing and the views are breathtaking. The food is excellent and the service staff are amazing. I am going to visit again soon with my husband. Thank you for hosting such a wonderful event for us on the second floor. The gala was magical.
