Delicious all around. Even my picky grandma enjoyed her food. I’ve been a customer here since 2017 and all I can say is every visit here has been satisfying. Highly recommend the onion pakora and the biryani and the everything else. I can tell the owner of this restaurant is very passionate about the business and that the cooks are committed. Bonus points for sensory friendly lighting!
I and my wife had lunch buffet at Bombay at the Beach. Food is delicious and authentic. Naan and Samosa are the best. Not so much verity, but everything offered on buffet was tasty. $22 for verity they offered was bit expensive, but given tourist destination it’s okay i guess. I ordered their pistachio kulfi to go. It is bite size for 3 bucks. It is a must try.
Service is good. One person is taking care of everything, but very efficient. He is very polite and friendly.
The place is pretty rundown. When I asked about it he told me that they are moving out to new building at the end of this year and hence not renovating.
If you love Indian food, go to Bombay on the Beach! Even if you are on vacation, these dishes hit the spot, & who says you have to have seafood every meal by the water? The old building may look closed, but they open at 5pm, every day but Wednesday. Cozy & quiet. Look for open sign in the windows. Very, very tasty!
Decided to stop in as the family loves Indian food. Food was good, BUT not a lot of variety ... fortunately for me the choices that were there were of my favorite (tiki masala, curry chicken, rice kheer, samosas). Food choices change daily as we were told. Food was not as spicy as I am used to at other Indian restaurants but still very good. And nicely an item that was not on buffet was made to order and brought to our table free of charge. Buffet lunch price was $22.99 on Sunday. Includes drink, sodas were sm canned sodas. Bathroom and outside building needs updating but other than that, environment decent. We were satisfied and our waiter very attentive which I love.
Excellent food with delicate flavors of India. Very healthy not greasy. The Tandoori chicken was delicious and chicken curry super. The vegetable also had its unique taste. The ambience and staff was amazing excellent customer service. I would recommend Bombay at the beach at Myrtle beach best place to enjoy authentic food.
Decent Indian food. I think there is only 1 or 2 people who work here. Our greeter was our kinda server as well as cashier and possibly cook. You have to get your own water and dinner wear.
Wow!! We were introduced to this place by a dear friend/faithful customer for over a decade, and now we know why he keeps going back to Bombay at the Beach! Mr. Bekah welcomed us warmly and brought us some appetizers - warm crispy papadam with dips, delicious thick samosas and pakoras, a mixed grill (tandoori meats and seafood) with a side of mango lassi. Everything was just incredible!! We had skipped breakfast so we definitely still had room for entrées. We opted for butter chicken, lamb curry, and chicken saag with garlic herbed naan. Good luck picking a favorite with this explosion of flavors on your taste buds!! You won’t forget it! I always love me some Indian food and Bombay at the Beach sure knows how to deliver! We then had a delicious dessert with rice pudding and gulab jamun. Mr. Bekah shared a little bit of his journey with us. It was very touching. He’s a quiet meek guy who recognizes his blessings and takes a lot of pride in working hard and making delicious meals for his customers to enjoy. Hop over there on a really empty stomach and enjoy an incredible meal!
After being disappointed the last 2 times with my go-to Indian restaurant, I decided to try Bombay at the Beach. We went in and the person working didn't say anything to us, but handed us menus and pointed to an area to sit. It took him a few minutes to take our order, and we had to get our own drinks and utensils, so that kinda caught me off guard along with not being greeted. Once he walked over to take our order I asked what he recommended, so we got that (spicy lamb curry) and I got samosa and the tandoori mix along with the chefs special naan. The samosas and chutneys were on point! The lamb curry was so so so good. The tandoori mix plate was lacking flavor, but the other food was so good I didn't care. I just asked for more chutneys to dip it in. The server didn't talk much, but he was nice. Also, you have to get your own to-go box and take your bill to the register to check out. Service wasn't what I'm used to, but it won't deter me from returning. I'm already looking forward to trying more food there! I hope next time is as good as this time. If so, this will be my new Indian go-to! Also, prices are fair for the most part but a can of soda will run you $2.75.
