Best WLM Reviews
A great twist to Indian street food, Bollywood theater really serves up delicious Indian foods.
One of the best chicken curries I’ve had in a while. Their twist, it’s cooked with coconut milk, giving the curry a hint of sweetness and making the curry a bit creamier.
The chicken tikka bowl was another one of my favorites. The heartiness of the rice with grilled chicken along with curry chickpeas, makes this dish a very filling meal.
Of course love the decor and interiors.
Great spot to explore indian flavors in Portland.
They have a television playing Indian movies all the time and you are also surrounded by Indian decor across the restaurant and the restrooms as well.
We got the chicken kathi roll, pav bhaji and the indian chai.
The kathi roll was flavorful, good portion size and high quality and pav bhaji was decent as well.
Highly recommend this spot which is also pretty reasonably priced as well!
Great vibe, ok food. Most of what I got lacked flavor. The Vhada pav didn’t live up to the hype. The complimentary chutneys were not tasty. The tali and mango lassi were really good though. Great refreshing ginger beverage with house made ginger syrup.
10/10 for the bollywood vibes of this place. The unlimited chai was great. But, the services was too slow. It took 45 mins for our food to arrive, and I could see everyone around me as impatiently waiting for their order as us. The biggest reason for 3 star rating is the ‘grill tadka plate’ which had a description with 7 ingredients, and was so little in quantity that we were hugely disappointed. The wraps were stuffed but not packed well making it impossible to eat them without ingredients falling off. The taste of most of the items was good, but small changes could definitely help them go a long way.
Best decor and atmosphere of any Indian restaurant . You need to order food the counter and gets delivered to you table. Roll and Fried Okra are the staple of this place. Rest of the food options are ok at best. If you are looking for authentic Indian food - look elsewhere. Decent Americanized Indian food. They also have a small shop with Indian spices and other Indian items.
We brought our toddlers in for an early dinner and had a great time. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The kids loved it. This place is a Portland favorite!
I absolutely love Bollywood theater. No other restaurant in Portland has given such excellent food that shows how delicious Indian food can be. This is one of the few restaurants in Portland where you very commonly see people of this heritage actually eating at the restaurant that is making food from that heritage.
The food is amazing, the drinks are great, the service is very reasonable and easy and the design of the restaurant is top tier. The lights and outdoor seating options just add so much variety. This is one of those places where you go once a month and it's the best treat. Couldn't recommend enough, the Thali meals are amazing.
Love this spot. Great place to watch a Bollywood flick and eat tasty Indian street food. They have a big space for indoor seating and covered outdoor seating. The pork vindaloo is amazing and the beet salad is a great palate cleanser for in between the tasty hot dishes.
