Best WLM Reviews

I took my mom for Mother’s Day weekend. The service was slow but expected. But the food!!!!!! It’s was wonderful!!! We ordered the Bole Sample Platter and we enjoyed every bit. My brother actually came back the next day because it was so good. The honey wine was delicious and our server was sweet. I’m coming back. FYI- the platter can feed 5 people easy. It was 4 of us and my mom too all the left over. Good indoor and out door sitting too. It’s a vibe must check out.
We came to Bole for my husband’s 60th birthday! The food and atmosphere was fantastic. Ethiopian tradition is unique and one of a kind. We got the Bole Platter though expensive it was worth every dime! The flavors were magical and good to the last lick ???? literally ????????????????
Delicious Ethiopian food in Atlanta! We were visiting for a conference and we were looking for some authentic Ethiopian food late in the evening. Bole was awesome! The food was very tasty and fresh. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice. We got one of the samplers and it had a great combination of foods. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in Atlanta.
This was close to my hotel. It was cold and rainy. The heat of this food was just what I needed. First off the setting is actually quite cozy. Lots of wood and stone decor. Anyway when I pulled up to it I was pleasantly surprised.
I ordered the sampler. There was a combination of meat veggie and grain (lentil) dishes. Other people have posted photos of it. Those are accurate. But….I was so hungry ate mine so fast I forgot the photo. But as you can see from my plate I found it delicious. Not overly “hot” good complexity. I had an old family friend many years ago who was Ethiopian and her cooking was similar. If you are utensil dependent you may be a little confused at first however I come from an eat-with-your-hands culture so this was not an issue for me.
This was my first time trying Ethiopian food, and I was NOT disappointed! It's a very family-type vibe in there, which is already very comforting. I wish i remembered our server's name but she was lovely.
As for my food, for starters I ordered Sambusa and the Chickpea Wot, and for dinner I ordered the Vegetarian Combo (more details in the pics)
When I first looked at the plate, I thought, oh maybe I'll have some to take home. After that first bite, I wiped that plate CLEAN. Looking back I don't even know if I was that hungry, I think I was so taken aback by how delicious and rich in flavor everything was. I left feeling so full and happy, there's nothing better than trying something for the first time and it tasting better than you expected, looking forward to going back.
Btw: This is right by the airport for anyone traveling to or through ATL.
We had never experienced Ethiopian food so we sat at the bar and our lovely bartender was a gracious tour guide. The food was amazing, we practically licked our plate. We definitely licked our fingers while we ate with our hands. Great food that turned into a cultural experience.
Amazing food! One of the more elegant platings of Ethiopian food I've had, more importantly it was all delicious. really nice open & airy vibe.
We had a great dinner there. The food was amazing and so good. Also we just had vegan dishes that tasted good.
First we had the Samosa which was one of the best I've ever had and I highly recommend it to everyone. Then we had a shared big veggie pattern and other dishes with bread and spicy veggies, super good.
I give 5 of 5 because the food was so good but I have to say that the food took a very long time, so be prepared for that.
