We went for Mother's Day. Luckily I made reservations because they were busy. The cajun chicken alfredo was amazing!! The service was great! We did not appreciate the food tax & the credit card fee on our bill. We spent over $100 and they charged almost $5 for using our credit card.
We arrived 10 minutes before closing and at first the hostess didn't want to seat us but the manager promptly seated us. We didn'trealize they closed at 6 on Sundays or wed have been there sooner, but 10 minutes is still plenty of time.
Our food actually arrived a few minutes before the table of 4 next to us and everything was great, as usual. Bogeys usually gets 5 stars from me but... you can't win 'em all.
If you love pasta then try this sauce and there are unique burger combos worth giving a go.
This restaurant is in an unusual spot, on the far edge of town, surrounded by the boonies. However, a lot packed full of cars is a testament to what this place has to offer. My friend brought me here and though it’s an open-air spacious place with a large bar in the center, the atmosphere is homey and comfy. The food is excellent. They have Italian Egg Rolls. Yes. They. Do. The menu gives plentiful options and the portions are hearty. A place worth remembering and coming back to. Kudos to the great cooks and servers…come check it out!
Delicious food and great wait staff & bartenders.
Bogey's was phenomenal. Our server was great and attentive. The atmosphere of the dining area was wonderful. The portions are HUGE! I got the Breakfast Burger with fries, extra crispy. That was one dang good burger! Thick and juicy, perfectly cooked. One little minor thing was the egg was a little overcooked and I didn't get any runny yolk from it. Just a tiny thing on an otherwise fantastic Burger!
I rarely speak poorly of a place and I know many love this place. However, this is our 4th and last time ordering from here. Due to 2 out of 4 orders being wrong. This latest time. The two main items - one was made wrong and one didn't even get made. We did accept not getting the Alfredo as we didn't pay for it but the baked fish sandwich we insisted fixing. Was told it would be ready when I got there. I waited 15 additional minutes. No apology and now 2 less customers.
Love the food here. Never had anything that was not delicious.
Food was not good at all. We ordered the clams scampi, which was incredibly salty. I understand it comes from the sea so some saltiness is to be expected but this was like you pour the entire salt shaker on them. We also had the portobello fried mushrooms which were very greasy and dry. For our entrees we ordered Eggplant parmesan which was dry and chewy almost as if it was not cooked all the way thru. The new York strip steak which was $29(at longhorn, an actual steakhouse, it's just under $26 in boardman) so for the price I expected at least a half decent steak. Nope, all fat and grisly very chewy literally had to rip it apart. My father had the portobello burger which was the only decent thing on the menu apparently, but still not great. Had to send back both the Sierra mist and the Pepsi both were flat with too much syrup. The waitress was alright, polite but not too helpful. Didn't smile couldn't recommend anything from the menu when asked. Didn't clear any dishes off the table which we were done with. Never asked how we were, if we needed anything, if it was good. Literally had to stretch out half way into the walkway and stop her to get her attention. Quite frankly, it's horrible food and mediocre service at a premium price. Do not recommend and never again will I go here.
