Absolutely love Body Language Tattoo in Muncie. Visited on multiple occasions over the last two years, haven't had a single bad experience. Worked with Cody Black Ford and Nikki both, very friendly and supportive with any project you have done. Very clean and reliable health wise, always a top priority for them as well. Have gotten tattoos and piercings here, plan to go for more in the future. Cody is great, super friendly and very talented. Honestly underrated, should be more valued for his work and attention to detail.
I couldn't rate this shop high enough, specifically Cody Blackford. I've gotten 2 tattoos from Cody in the last 1 1/2 years. Everything heals well, clean lines, saturated color, and unique dot work. I'm sending everyone I know to him, because I trust him as a person and artist. (Attached image is my most recent work right after session)
DO NOT GO HERE! They are unprofessional and unorganized! I started to get my tattoo and before one of the owners put a needle on my skin, I noticed he was unbelievably high. He was so high that his eyes closed and did not reopen. I just got up and left. Worst experience! It was so unsanitary, he was itching his head and below the waist with the gloves on that he was going to use to do my tattoo. I could not get that purple ink off my arm that they put to outline the tattoo off my skin and my skin was irritated. Others have also told me that have had bad experiences so it wasn’t just a bad day. Please for your safety do not go here!
This place is amazing! Came into town from Louisiana for the holidays and decided to stop by to see about getting a couple tattoos and they went above and beyond for a fantastic price!
This shop has a wonderful environment and two of the nicest, coolest tattoo artists I've ever met!!! They are willing to work with you on whatever you want done and always have done a fantastic job. For me, the friendliness makes the tattoo process a lot easier, and my artist David is great at making conversation and making you feel comfortable. :)
Would 100% recommend visiting this shop for whatever work you want done!!
Got snake bites there. Everyone was very kind and professional. My issue is that the starter jewelry was way too short. It was maybe ⅓ or ¼ of the length it should've been. The shop is really nice, but using the wrong starter jewelry isn't really good for healing.
I have gotten multiple tattoos and piercings done here, and they have all turned out so well and to my liking. The staff are super helpful, informative, skilled, and friendly:) Cody has done all of my tattoos and I love the artistry he brings to the table. He strives for the best and dedicates a lot of time to what he does. Nikki has done my piercings and she is so great. She always makes me feel comfortable and is also very skilled and knows a lot about the piercing/care/healing process! Overall will definitely go here again in the future.
The staff here is super friendly. I went to get a Valentine's Day tattoo with Mitch and the place was super busy. The staff made me feel at home while I waited. I was there for quite awhile so I got to see some of the artists tattoo and they are all so talented! Mitch did the outline for my tattoo and two weeks later added shading and color. He is the sweetest person and so incredibly talented. I am so happy with my tattoo and I am happy I can walk around with his work visible to the world. This place is super clean and every artist has a place of their own to show off their personalities. I will definitely be coming back!
