My other stylist canceled on us last minute. So I called on a Sunday and she was able to accommodate us. Would recommend.
This place is amazing the lady that did my hair did a great job. I thing EVERYONE should go there to get thier braids done thanks Fatima

I got my hair braided there and the woman was on the phone the whole time, yelling and screaming. All the while cornrowinf my hair really tight. I took the cornrows our the next day. My scalp was ruined. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON EVER.
Do Not go to this hair salon. Called to tell them what I wanted they did half the job I ended up doing the rest myself even though I paid full price. Poor management and rude behavior.
They do not listen whatsoever. I wanted my braids short (shoulder length) but then when it’s time for me to leave they cannot even cut it short because whatever the reason was— why not tell me that before whatever is happening in my hair, happens??? I caught the first two braids and REMINDED (it was discussed prior) them that I wanted MEDIUM volume with MEDIUM parts, we both look at the mirror together and agreed what it should look like- by the time I put the mirror down and look at the end result, I couldn’t believe why they’d insist on the same scalp punishing look, that I specifically corrected NOT to do. What I got was nothing I asked for. Not the least, the constant phone chatting and peer chatting amongst one another, was not easy to cope with. There was never a moment where I was comfortable.
I am so unhappy with my experience at this place. There was a strong odor of cat pee or something like it in addition to it being super dirty. My hair took 5 hours to do of which she spent 5 hours yelling in my ear on her phone. Her braiding was super painful for those awful 5 hours only to stand up and find my hair looking nothing like what I asked for and she refused to fix it and charged me $80 for my trouble instead of $100. I’ll never go back there again, ever.
I’ve had it with the braiders on 2nd Ave. I’m going to start going to Philly and hopefully have my hair done right for a decent price without sitting there all damn day. ????
I would NOT recommend coming to this place what so ever. They are very unprofessional with appointment time. Very rude with their tone when speaking to you. They did not do my hair the way I requested after showing them a picture and complained about what I wanted was too much. I am a paying customer and I pay full price for your service it’s expected to do what the hell i ask if you know how to not because it’s for much because you OVERBOOKED your shop. Many people came in to get their hair done when made an appointment and couldn’t get their hair done due to poor timing. The shop smells like cat pee and it’s very dirty. They yank and pull on my head and my head isn’t even tender headed. They hair stylist talk to each other very loudly which causes them to pause and stop doing hair. I am so not pleased and DONT RECCOMEND
