Best WLM Reviews
An authentique Spanish restaurant, a family business in which the owner puts all his soul and makes the experience very personal. For 3 hours we forgot we were in Le Coq. One can only agree with the positive reviews already posted.
This was a great little pitstop. We didn't know what to order so the owner gave us a variety of tapas. The food was unique and good. Small location with limited seating. Very friendly staff. Great location .
Great food..i reccommend to my friends..
We had an unforgettable experience here during our trip to De Hann. This exceeded our expectations! We had the honour of having the owner (Jan) explaining dishes and explaing where the food comes from. This was really personal and you can feel the passion he has for his restaurant and the food. The concept of sharing the food with your group, eating and drinking over some time was well received. We were there for over 4 hours. The ambiance is fantastic, and everything down to the Scottish Whisky has it's Spanish element. Yes it's maybe on the more expensive side for some, however knowing that all the ingredients are sourced from Spain and the quality that is provided, you know it is worth it. We will most definitely return!
Pretty good place to eat they are also good at handle customer wich is important for me and then the decorations are amazing I actually got the experience to dine in there one time and I can say that I can recommend this place to people that are looking something to dine in or just a place to chill.
Best food experience we had in De Haan. The food was delicious and thought through and the presentation by the owner and the nice ambience greatly contributed to a most enjoyable evening. While much of the gastronomy at the coastline seems like a quick money-grab, I felt that one really gets one's money's worth at Bodega Latapa.
Also, I want to emphasize how much I appreciate that they (a) offer vegetarian options and (b) know, care and inform about where their meat products are from. With the passion and creativity that the owners display, I am confident that, in the future, they will experiment with even more vegetarian dishes to supplement their menu.
I'm a bit disappointed that this is the first restaurant in Belgium (based on my personal experience) that refuses kids. Kids are only welcome from an age of 8 or 9 years old, is what the guy explained. The reason was that kids causes kind of disruptions like noise and other. For me this tapas restaurant is contradicting with the Spanish culture where there is an high level of acceptance of children. Hopefully they will think about it to improve in the fututre. This was the reason why I am writing this review, so the truth has to be known and told.
Amazing tapas, very well decorated cozy restaurant, very friendly owners. Definitely recommend!
