Best WLM Reviews

Looking for a breakfast in a "real diner setting"? This is the place.
We were in Tucson for our son's graduation and he wanted to show us his favorite dining locations. This is one of his top picks. My husband and I agree. There is a wide selection of inexpensive but delicious food options. The staff members are quick and efficient, and very friendly and helpful. They are busy but they don't make the customer feel rushed.
There is normally a wait to get in, but it's well worth it. We were second in line on the Monday when we visited, around noon, and we waited about 15 minutes.
We each ordered something different. I had Bobo's Veggie Omelette with fried potatoes, and wheat toast. My husband and son each had two eggs with sausage links. My husband added fried potatoes and toast. My son added biscuits and gravy. It was A LOT OF FOOD!!!
But, we could not leave Bobo's without one of their HUGE pancakes, so we purchased one to share. We got banana with pecans! YUM!!! The pancake is light and fluffy with the bananas adding a nice fruity flavor, well accented by the pecans. It is fried in what I'm assuming is butter and sugar because it comes with a nice crisp "coating" on one side. A perfect ending to a delicious breakfast.
My husband and son's coffee mugs never ran dry as one young man returned several times throughout the meal to refill with more hot coffee.
I highly recommend a stop at Bobo's, especially on a not-so-busy day and time.
Finally tried breakfast at Bobo's and definitely understand why there's always a crowd waiting to get in. Had an omelet that was scrumptious. The eggs were cooked practically crepe thin and folded over thw cheese and bacon bits. Perfectly cooked so it was not too firm but still perfectly cooked and cheese melted into every bite. The side potatoes were great. Even my sometimes picky son and bf loved their meals. It's not the prettiest place but it's homey. Our waitress was very nice but busy so you may have to wait on things but worth it on a day when we have time for a leisurely breakfast
Bobo's Restaurant is an absolute gem in Tucson, offering up home-cooked favorites that you simply cannot miss. The prices are unbelievably reasonable, making it accessible to all, and their signature caramelized apple pancake is nothing short of heavenly—it's a must-try for anyone visiting the area. Be sure to arrive early on weekends, as the word has clearly gotten out about this local favorite, often resulting in a bit of a wait. But let me tell you, every minute spent waiting is more than worth it once you sink your teeth into their delectable dishes. Bobo's Restaurant has earned every bit of its five-star rating, and I can't wait to go back for another unforgettable meal.
Not a good experience, Mom took me here for her mother's day and I absolutely expect it to take a while because of that, although five tables were sat after us and they all got their food before us. Our plates were not complicated, a senior breakfast and two eggs with a side of crispy bacon with one biscuit and gravy. The food was ice cold and the service was subpar. I'd like to add that the coffee server was on top of it., Mom's coffee was never empty. Super disappointed, was really looking forward to eating there, we definitely won't be back. :'(
Best pancakes ever. The banana pancake has a delicious cinnamon glaze, and the blueberry-banana pancake is delicious too (despite no cinnamon). The apple pancake is unbelievably good. Charming atmosphere too. This place is a must if you're in Tucson. But be prepared to wait a while for a table!
Looking for a mom and pops breakfast place. This is the place for you. The lines can be a little long, but the wait is definitely worth it. This is a family-owned business and they have always been super sweet to our family every time we have gone. 5 stars is an understatement, they deserve 100 stars.
Bobo's is my favorite breakfast place in town. They've been open since dinosaurs roamed the earth, so they're clearing doing things right! Their home fries are my favorite, but the pancakes are absolutely massive, and the ones cooked with cinnamon and sugar are the devil. It carmelizes on the pancake and is just something everyone should experience. I also really like the grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss and green chillies. So good!
The waitresses are great, at one point it was 3 generations of women from the owners immediate family. Pretty cool if you ask me!
Bobo's is just a local, iconic, breakfast staple in Tucson and if you've never been there, what are you waiting for? Hurry up!
Smaller scale restaurant with HUGE portions. This place is an absolute staple in Tucson and for good reason. The food is phenomenal. The pancakes are massive and delicious. The staff is always friendly. There's usually a little bit of a wait to get in, but it's soooo worth it!
