Mainly sweet shop also serves namkin items. If the sweets are fresh, they are very tasty. Loved their collection.
We got there around closing time and they were very accommodating, made our food fresh to order, and was patient when I asked about different sweets! They put a lot of love into their food. I recommend their fish pakora for those who can't take spice well, and their mango lassi is must! Definitely coming back.
Food was good but they gave it to us in paper plates and paper bowls, they charged us for water not gonna be coming back there prices are outrageous, for putting in zero effort. I’m guessing the reason they have 4 starts is because of the sweets. I have never been to a restaurant that charges people 1.50 for water might not be much but it adds up and they didn’t even tell us water cost money.
OMGOODNESS this place is delicious. I can't wait to try more menu items. Beautiful mom & pop shop with the best tasting food. I enjoyed the Amritstar Kulche. Big portions. Yes, they serve on paper plate, but most grab & go places serve you in a paper to go sack. Tons of sweets to choose from. I will definitely be back!
I saw a new restaurant in the neighborhood so I thought I'd give it a try. I got an order of chicken curry to go. When I spoke to the lady by phone I wanted to make sure it was enough. She said it was enough for 2 people. When I saw the tiny container I knew that it wouldn't be enough for even a 7yr old. The container was 40% oil and the rest had maybe 5 small pieces of chicken. No way is this worth the $16 that they charged me This dish is only worth $3.50. I'm not sure who the owner is but they need to stop being cheap. If you want to keep customers, that price needs to be less than half.
On the positive side the samosas were ok, but I wouldn't recommend putting tofu in it.
I will stick to making my own chicken curry at home with half the amount of oil and double the chicken. I don't know how long they can stay in business with those prices. The last restaurant there didn't last very long. I wish them luck.
Its quite a new Indian sweets shop near Sheldon Road & Elk Grove Blvd. The lady on the desk offered great customer service and was calm. She did answer my all questions and even went above and beyond. The price is $11/12 per lb. for Indian sweets. They have a lot of choices for sweets. They do have an in-house restaurant for delicious Indian dishes.
Note to the Owner: Stop Overcharging or change your menu prices. I was overcharged on 2 items. Idly(0/5) was tasteless and samosa chat (2/5).
I decided to place a large order for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and Bobby sweets provided me with everything I needed to make sure the food stayed warm. I highly recommended Bobby Sweets! They are very professional and made sure to accommodate my requests!
