Delivery order. Everything was included and delivery was fast…too fast. I ordered fried chicken breast and one of the 2 was still raw. The other appeared to be fully cooked but was mostly breading with little meat. My daughter’s fries were over cooked and tasted burnt. The salad appeared to be all spinach, no lettuce included. The rolls were hard. My hotel is about 4 blocks away from the restaurant, so I don’t think the issue was a lengthy delivery. I’ve heard great things about Bob Evans restaurants so was excited to try. I will likely try another one because everyone has off days, but I was definitely disappointed in this $40 meal for two.
Place was short on cooks and servers, but it was very clean. I was amazed and loved out waitress, Jackie! Not only did she work with the efficiency of 3 or more people, she worked with enthusiasm and was super cheerful. She made us smile constantly, made us falling love again with the banana bread and hooked us on the cream cheese. Also, shout out to the cook! Sweet Jesus, I thought I was at my mama's house the way you cooked our food. I was torn between my food and my wife's food lol. Great experience, love the staff, and really enjoyed our food.
I Love Bob Evans It Used To Be Me & My Girl's Go To Spot. But this last time was Utterly Disappointing. The Server was Good. The Food was (A NO) for the both of us. Time to check out there's a young white girl waiting on a white male that took care of him and walked away. We waited about 10 minutes and she came back telling us to go over to the other side to pay. Shaking Our Heads we looked at each other saying the same thing. Why didn't she tell us that before she walked away. It had been a couple of years since our last visit and I don't think I'll be returning.
It was my wife’s and I first time eating here and it was very good. Friendly staff, prompt and fresh food. The banana bread, and pot roast sandwich were delicious. My chicken sandwich was great with the honey mustard. Good prices made it worth the trip.
Hershel was an awesome and informative server. I had the double blueberry pancakes with the blueberry topping on the side. Delicious! My dad got the chicken pecan salad and it was amazing! The fried chicken was seasoned so well on the salad and enough to compete with the lettuce. Really good with the colonial dressing. I ordered one to go.

This was my review for this particular Bob Evans. Those of you who REALLY know me knows this one hurts....
"Let me first say I love Bob Evans. They are my UNDISPUTED favorite place to go for breakfast. That hasn't changed. I also want to state that I do work in the restaurant business and understand the challenges many of the restaurants are currently facing. I make it a point to be more patient, understanding, and appreciative of those who come to work. That is why this is an "EXTREMELY" difficult review to write.
We were looking forward to going to Bob Evans for brunch today. It was storming, there were numerous breakfast places closer to our location, but chose to drive an extra 6 miles because we love Bob Evans!
However, this particular location didn't feel the same way about me and my family. We came in and the hostess wasn't in the front. I chalked that up to being short staffed which I could understand. A cashier walked by and said nothing, the hostess came and stared at us without any acknowledgment, another cashier walked by, and stared at us and said NOTHING as well!. This happened for at least 10 minutes until we decided to walk out.
The first thing you are suppose to do is ACKNOWLEDGE the customer, even if you are busy. At least that is what I do. "Hello, thanks for coming to _______, someone would be with you shortly" Something like that would have sufficed. Needless to say the next time we are at Myrtle Beach we will not go to that location"

Follow up to Bob Evans post: I haven't heard back from anyone. I even did a follow up just in case, and still no response.
This leaves me no other choice but to break ties with Bob Evans. Those who really know me knows this is a true gut shot.
Bob Evans is usually my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice for breakfast/brunch.
I don't eat any other brand of sausage, to me Bob Evans sausage is "THE STANDARD", there is no other brands.
My short list for breakfast when I do eat it is "DRAMATICALLY" shorter now.
As much as I love Bob Evans, I love myself and my family more. So the decree is set "NO MORE BOB EVANS of any sort in the Grimes...house.
It has now been 3 years and I have still have not heard back from the managers or Bob Evans period.
Nice restaurant with home cooked meals. A cute little store with small souvenirs. Friendly staff and clean dining area. Our food had a good taste but was on the room temperature side not hot like it should be when it reaches your table. But overall not bad.
Second time I've done pickup in a month, hash browns are cold, hash browns are old, couldn't even eat them, bacon old, probably both leftovers from yesterday! If we were dinning inside we would have sent it back. Spent 29.00 for pickup and the lowest amount on the tip screen was almost 4.00 for slop! Never again!!!
