As we walked in, my wife and I were greeted with smiling faces, we got sat immediately on a Saturday morning. Our server was super friendly, when the food came out I was genuinely surprised how awesome it looked.. and it tasted even better! Would love to come back and try some more breakfast options or even some lunch menu items!
The food would've been tasty if everything hadn't been burnt outside and undercooked inside. The hashbrown and potatoes were both horribly burnt, and the pancakes were hard outside and raw inside. I wanted my eggs well done, and my SCRAMBLED EGGS were runny. We were told the chefs were new, but not cooking on such high heat the whole time should be common knowledge? On top of that, our server was rude and seemed annoyed when we were telling her what we wanted. She also brought out milk and butter before our coffee and pancakes, which isn't wrong, just noticably weird. Overall, it's horrible.
I haven’t been to a Bob Evans in years. My mom and I ate breakfast there the other day, and it was pretty good. The food hot when it came out. The sausages, bacon, eggs and pancakes were tasty. The toast was good, but next time, I will ask for no butter.
The waitress was very attentive and kind. The restaurant was clean and decorative. We enjoyed our visit. There’s so much in the menu to choose from too.
Bob Evans has a menu with quite a bit of variety. Very tasty food at a good price. I absolutely love their cinnamon flavored pancakes. Food portions are also quite generous is size for many items.
Only reason it doesn't get a 5-star is the 50/50 service. Sometimes you get a friendly, attentive server who takes care of you and makes sure you have no issues. Almost just as often, however, we've gotten a server who barely acknowledges us, and doesn't check up on us at all other than to take our order and deliver the food. Never rude or terrible but at a sit-down restaurant it's nice to have staff at least check in to make sure your order is accurate or if you need a refill.
2nd day we came in for breakfast. Yesterday (4/26/24) food was amazing. Today we asked for veggie omelets and some hash browns on the side. We got meat. Employees were nice to re-make the order. But the omelets were literally scrambled eggs with veggies thrown on the inside. Not in the egg blended in but thrown inside the egg when you opened it. Ruined the whole experience. Wish it was a better experience. Clean place and very busy on a Saturday morning.
Classic American food, good value for the price. Lots of options and a nice gift section. The waitresses was great. You can get banana bread instead of rolls with your meal. Pretty good too. I'm not close but we sometimes drive just to eat here.
A waitress Kylie was amazing she recommended the dinner turkey and stuffing and the beef roast both of them were tender melt in your mouth everything was great the food came out perfect atmosphere was a phenomenal very welcoming family oriented and very friendly we'll go back again
What ever is going on in this kitchen needs to change , I can’t even believe they really trying to sell carrots like this , and the rest of the food eww , never coming to this location again.
Do you think when they ask you if everything was ok and you say not really, they would ask what happened or how can they make it better , no , they just brushed it off and tell you the total , what a joke this place.
Didn’t even bother , still did my 20% as the waitress was trying her best.
