Don't know if anyone actually reads these anymore. But 4-22-24 service was wonderful.
Followed two middle aged ladies into the building, and while at the time of entering they only had a waitress, cook and assistant manager, the ladies were seated before and I was seated soon after.
Being around 5pm, dinner rush was beginning. Being busy it took a short while to order, ordered a soup and salad and the ladies ordered more complicated food.
My food arrived before the ladies, and they immediately started complaining.
I don't know why it's hard for people to understand that soup and salad is not a difficult meal to make and only takes a few minutes. Regardless, the waitress was nothing but polite and wonderful to all of her customers. I cannot praise her enough for her kindness.
Talking to the assistant manager I expressed my gratitude at her kind service and recommended all a raise. Such wonderful staff deserves a raise. I am sorry these people had to deal with rude customers like the two ladies. But they kept a professional attitude and were top notch.
I don't normally leave reviews, but these people deserve a special recognition.
I have always enjoyed Bob Evans meals. Good location. Service was good. Food prepared good. Like the homestead breakfast.
I'm not sure what happened to the quality, but we sure were disappointed. Also, there are no more waffles for breakfast.
Please do not go here if you have a seafood allergy! I was told due to my allergy I couldn’t have anything from the grill or the fryer due to them using the same grill and fryer for all of their food! I asked for the manager and she would not come to the table. Our poor server kept apologizing and she was lovely. We never got to talk to the manager and I called corporate and they were confused as to why a different grill or dryer could be used as each location has multiple. I just wanted to warn everyone that they are not allergy conscious at all!
I always love the food here but we waited to be seated and no one even came up to us for 15 minutes. Staff was just talking and folding silverware. Finally someone came up and asked how many our party had and said he was going to check the wait and 10 minutes passed and he never came back. He was pouring coffee and talking. We just walked out.
There were 10-11of us there Weds with most in their late 80's. Our server, Josh, was the best I've ever had. He was so patient & attentative to them even while having several other tables. Can't say enough good things about him. I was very impressed.
I really am bewildered with what is going on at this Bob Evans...
I am trying to figure out how a location of a chain restaurant can be that far off course. We walked in and there were 3 people at the hostess stand and none of them could give a wait time - one said 10 minutes, another said 30 minutes, and the other said 45 minutes. The 10 minutes was the most accurate but they told plenty of folks 45 minutes who just left. The waitress was nice and was trying hard but it appeared they were just really disorganized. The food took a really long time to come out. The runner walked by us with our food 3 times before wifie stopped her and told her she thought that was our food. Wifie had an omelet which was like warm but ok. I had their everything breakfast which parts of it were cold an parts of it were hot. They forgot to put the sauce on it and it took like 10 minutes to get a cup of sauce. Just not good - but to top it all off When we were all finished the manager came over and asked about the meal. I told her it was ok but we needed to get going and could we get the bill - she came back with the bill and apologized and told us she took some money off... It was someone else's bill. How screwed up can a place get
When traveling I always look for Bob Evans because I know that I can expect great food and excellent service.
