Killer combo of the wedge salad and calamari strips tonight. That's a pint glass next to the salad bowl for size reference
Is a dive bar and at first i was really worried but looks arent everything. Service was excellent so was the food surprisingly. I really like it! We had the burgers, calamari, fish and chip and a couple of beers bill came out to 80 bucks for 4 people. Not bad I would try it and don't let the appearance scare you is not bad at all.
Great selection of beer on tap, simple but delicious looking menu and casual, nautical atmosphere brimming with genuine charm. Stopped on the way home from a camping trip and got a mushroom & Swiss burger with bacon and a couple pints. Burger was cooked perfectly, juicy and stocked full of flavor. Highly recommend!
Decent food, excellent beer-battered fish and chips that are crispy on the outside and moist on the inside with flavorful batter -- maybe a little salty, but that's how I like it. The first two times we ate here, the restaurant was nearly empty and the food came within 20-ish minutes. The last time we ate here, the restaurant was packed including a 20-something-person party; it took 90 minutes to get our food from the time we arrived. We've had the same server all the times, and we like her. We'll give it another chance, but not when we're in a hurry or with hungry kids.
Good food in a low-frills atmosphere! So I was looking for a good stop after a hike at Headwaters and this place came up. Kind of shabby chic but the bar is made out of the stern of an old whaling ship, which is pretty cool, and my Duck Bacon Lettuce and Tomato sandwich (DLT) was delicious. Service was friendly, drinks tasty. Recommend!
4/20/19 The WORST place EVER. I can't even give it a star. Ordered a burger & fries. The inside of the bun was dry and hard had to ask for condiments and waited for them cause the young girl who waited on us was more interested in what was going on at the bars dice game then her customers. Fries looked like and tasted like they were soaking in year old oil brown and rubbery. When I asked her if that's how they make them there she said they got a new cook. Well looks like they need another new cook who has pride in what they send out. Cost us $30 for lousy food. The only other family there were not pleased as well. So people PLEASE don't waist your money or time. Burger King or McDonald's would have been better. The only reason I have to give it a star cause it won't post if I don't.
Our experience, unfortunately was not positive. The tortilla shells for the fish tacos were cold. The dish would have been great if they would have grilled the shells. The other dish was the boathouse chicken wrap. Very little chicken and too much ranch. The waiter/cook was not very friendly, but that may have been because he was the only one taking orders, cooking and tending to the bar area. Now for the positive, the pulled pork sandwich and chicken strips were yummy.
A friendly neighborhood bar with a welcoming bartender. I had the clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl that was excellent. The prices were good and though this is definitely a local watering hole I felt right at home.
