My husband and I just ordered two fish and chip dinners and a kids chicken tender meal for lunch, The server who took my order on the phone was super rude and seemed as if I bothered her by calling and ordering, The bill was fifty dollars ($20 per fish and chip order) for the WORST fish-and-chips I've ever gotten in my life. The fish are soggy and overcooked frozen cod sticks. The breading doesn't stay on at all, and the fries are soggy and wilted. As a family that just moved to the area and was seeking a go to fish place we are extremely disappointed
Showed up at 9 had two lovely Old Nation Single Doubles (out of ♡♡) and the Anchor sandwich which left me wanting more not because it was great but I am sure they fillet the chicken breast in half. Bonus was two dill spears enjoyed with the bottom remnants of a chip bag. Waitress could not answer specifics about craft beer and wanted her shift over.
Stopped in for lunch today. Ordered chicken wings. After a couple bites discovered the bone and surrounding meat was ice cold. Notified the bartender and got complete silence
No apology expressed no concern that I just bit into undercooked chicken. Did not even care. Took the wings and threw them in the garbage.
Definitely will not come back. Troubling that an establishment that serves food does not care about their customer after being served undercooked chicken.

Use to go here for years but unfortunately due to the owner being extremely rude to customers and other business around him I will not be returning. It goes a long way being nice and unfortunately the owner does not know how to do that. Screaming at people for standing on a public sidewalk shows character.
Service was slow. Busy with the regulars and not on the rest of the bar. Philly wasn't bad, but my wife didn't like her crispy chicken salad. Ingredients seemed old and didn't expect banana peppers in it.

We walked in, went to sit at the bar, and were basically forced to sit at the table while the bartender put a bottle of mixer in place like someone was sitting in that spot. Used to love this bar. Most likely, we won't be returning.
Good dive bar food, especially the nachos. Bring some company if you plan on tackling the big nacho. Nothing fancy with the drinks as you would expect from a dive bar but for what it is it's a great place to check out at least once.
