Best WLM Reviews
We have no complaints eating at this place. My wife and I shared the nachos which was a large portion and then we each had tacos. Both were very flavorful. Out of everywhere to eat on the resort, this is probably one of the cheaper options. Was a nice setting next to the water. We ate early lunch so there wasn’t many people which was nice.
This place is located in the Hilton Waikoloa Village mega resort. It has great property views but no ocean view. It’s a fun beach-side styled bistro/bar with a Mexican-Hawai’ian fusion theme.
I got the BLC Taco Salad with mahi mahi added and a traditional margarita made with just tequila, orange liquor, and fresh lime juice. The meal was excellent and the drink was perfect. I then ordered a Trader Vic styled Mai Tai and the bartender knocked it out perfectly. The cost is high but no unexpected for a resort. The salad with fish was $23 and the drinks were around $13-$15.
Mark the bartender was a fun conversationalist and I highly recommend this place for lunch.
The food was not good. If you know, and like Mexican food, this is not it.
I can tell you the beans had cumin, the rice was over cooked and tasted weird, and overall the flavors were bland, bland, bland. Even tabasco sauce failed to make it decent. Overall, it would be hard to make worse Mexican food in Hawaii.
The location is nice and relaxing. You can watch the fish, the train, boat and people here. But don't come here for the food.
I had the pork tacos, and it was easily one of, if not the best tacos I've ever had. On top of being amazing, it was a ton of food that was incredibly filling. I also tried the horchata, and it was also perfection. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.
Came here again today for lunch, omg lunch was awesome, had nachos with steak, and the wife had the taco salad with chicken, yum- great food & service. Must come to place at the Hilton Waikoloa Village.????????????️
Now we were pretty close to closing time, and only ordered appetizers, but what we had was only OK.
Our room was close to this restaurant, and it is also a boat and tram stop, so it is popular. It's right in front of a pretty lagoon, and the bar and table are all overlooking it. The variety of foods is good, with all selections able to be made vegetarian, also. The portions are really HUGE, so you can easily share or have enough for leftovers! Food is very tasty, too. We enjoyed it so much, we ate there twice!
Decent food and friendly service. This was about a 2 minute walk from our room and they even offered kids meals! Price here is much lower then most of the other restaurants in the resort. It was cool to sit and watch the shuttle boats as well as the fish in the surrounding water.
