I have stopped here a few times, including today, for a tofu banh mi sandwich for lunch. This sandwich is so tasty and really affordable compared to most other sandwich options in Lakeview. The service is quick and friendly. I kinda forgot about this place recently, but I plan to integrate it into my weekly lunch rotation

But seriously, when the name of the sandwich is the name of your shop, The least you could do is be good at making your sandwich. Bahn-mi are traditionally filled with fresh veggies and meat in plentiful supply. What we received looks like somebody smashed some roadkill between two limp pieces of baguette.
It was not terrible tasting… but needed help with our own extra veggies and seasoning sauce. But for the price - there are better nearby.
This is to Vietnamese cuisine what chipotle is to authentic Mexican dishes.

A great find. Perfect for lunch or a casual dinner. I always try to find Banh Mi sandwiches wherever I go and was lucky this was close to where I was staying. The fried dumplings are also nice, very simple, and very satisfying. Try the lemongrass chicken banh mi.
The service & food were top notch. I've ordered over the phone & dined in. The staff were courteous & accommodating. One of the servers made us laugh :)
I normally take more photos, but I was so hungry I forgot. I'm definitely going here again.
I’ve been getting delivery from here for about a year. It is absolutely delicious and solid food! The broth and the chicken pho is absolutely flavorful and delicious there. Summer rolls are out of this world, huge and filling. Their sandwiches are all tasty as heck and the barbecue pork is my favorite.
The dumplings/potstickers were dry and bland. Felt like I was just chewing on the dough. There was hardly any chicken on my sandwich. It was mostly just a cucumber. Usually it's pretty good but today I'm just so disappointed.
Ordered the lemongrass tofu bahn mi, and they were just okay! Got a deal through Uber Eats, but I felt they lacked flavor. They definitely needed some some sort of dressing since it was dry. Delivery was fast though.
This was my second time going there for lunch during a work-day. They're really quick and affordable for such a great quality! I had the chicken phò and it was perfect. I've also had their mushroom soup and it was also super good. Get the phò if you're hungry, get the mushroom soup if you want something light with a lot of flavor :-)
