the bahn mi i miss and always will try and get when in the bay area (1 on the menu). just so so good, flavors, bread, everything. also they are cash only so heads up
I tried their #1 and it was pretty good. $6.50 for a sandwich and a coke. Cheap and filling! Love the cucumber slices in the sandwich, it’s crisp and refreshing. The jalapeños give it some heat. I wish they offered sirracha sauce cause I like my banh mi drenched in the stuff. Fire! Fire!
Love this place! Hole in the wall sandwich shop. Dont be discouraged by the look of it, sandwiches are amazing. CASH ONLY. I forgot during my last visit and had to scramble to the bank. Super affordable, sandwiches are around $7
This place has been around since I was young and it's only barely increased in price. They could honestly charge double if they wanted - the service is lightning fast, the sandwiches are delicious and filling. Be nice to the proprietor, he's been hustling for decades.
Love this place. Just like everyone else. Just wish they were open a bit later. They use the right bread with the rice floor and have a good selection of meats.
No tables, but the prices can't be beat. $6.50 for a sandwich is almost unheard of, in 2024. Good quality too.
Randomly stopped by this place because we were craving just a quick bite to eat.. It this ain't the best banh mi in the bay area, it's definitely top 3. Also super affordable. Came back the next day to get another banh mi to make sure the first one wasn't a fluke of sheer deliciousness. I'll probably stop by again before flying home.
Great food at an awesome price. Cash only. Love the veggie sandwich. My partner likes the grilled pork.
