Weirdly refreshing food. Definitely fresh and well-made.
Hot chocolate was good. Coffee was OK. Homemade quiche was amazing. And I don’t even like mushrooms. Philly steak was amazing. Not super greasy - very fresh.
Only downside was slightly upset seeming worker. Maybe she just has that look to her or maybe she just needed a break I hope she’s OK.
I love stopping and eating here at this British-decorated place on Lake Bluff’s downtown street. Tables are both inside and on the sidewalk. Today’s quiche portion (with potato salad on the side) is huge and delightful. Many sandwiches are available.
The food is so fresh and the environment is so warm. Many try to hit the mark with this type of menu and fail to deliver as great of an all around experience. The service is attentive and kind. Willing to travel to experience this small treasure!
I had the Cajun Beef Sandwich made as a wrap with a side of homemade coleslaw and homemade potato salad, with a Dirty Chia Latte.
The food is exceptional. Very pleased with the flavor profile although a bit on the hotter side, be prepared they mean CAJUN!
I arrived at lunch time and the place was packed. The staff were extremely friendly and proficient.

Bluffington's is a small family oriented and a very friendly restaurant. The staffs/owners were absolutely friendly and very polite. The sandwiches were amazing, tasty and served with huge portions. The atmosphere was very welcoming, cozy and almost hole in the wall kind of setting yet located in a town square. I ordered philly steak and I almost didnt finish it with just how much they gave me. My friends had blue cheese buffalo chicken and a Reuben's sandwich which to their comments were really good and flavorful especially the buffalo chicken. The lady owner was so friendly and helpful with all of our needs and constantly checking with us and suggested really good desserts. Owner even gave us free chocolate chip cookies!
An adorable and quaint local gem. We came for lunch and the staff was very sweet and attentive and the food was delicious. We got a rueben as well as a turkey sandwich and to drink we got a vanilla latte, and a mocha. All was delicious! Next time I’ll take pictures as we forgot because we were excited to grub :)!
Anna Marie is the sweetest lady ever!!! The food was amazing the service was impeccable and the vibe was there! We came from Texas and will definitely make a trip back to come visit!
