This was a great find. Driving around with our visitors from Arizona and we stopped by. They were busy, but they acknowledged us right away, which is a gigantic plus for me as I'm big on customer service. The food was delicious. I recommend you try this place if you are in Brookings or just passing through.
Great food and been here for well over 20 years and never had a bad meal here ???? had the chicken fried steak with brown gravy instead of the normal country gravy and pancakes that come with it..amazing experience
Blue Water Cafe and Lounge in Brookings, Oregon is a super comfy breakfast and lunch location (with a lounge!).They have booth seats and plenty of tables. Great breakfasts. Awesome wraps and other lunch items.

Second morning in a row that we had breakfast here. Almost the only thing open at this time in this sleepy town.
Atmosphere was better today. Food was amazing both days. Amber was our server today and absolutely loved her energy.
Bloody Mary was simple, but delicious and did the trick.
Blueys!!! Really like this place, service was awesome, the I think huckleberry syrup was amazing, bacon was cooked perfectly and loved the French toast. Wished my coffee could've had actual creamer. Great place to eat over all. Had a good time. Nice waitresses.
This place has a weird vibe. Can't tell what's up with the decor. We asked to sit in the lounge as we usually do. We do this to avoid other people's kids. No luck there. The bar was full of kids and a breast feeding mother. Never even got to see a menu. Waited in the cold bar for a little while before deciding this was not the spot for us. We left and nobody even noticed. I don't understand why this place has a high rating. Just a "blah" experience. Never going back.
We arrived here on a Sunday and was told: " Our apologies as it's just a busy day". Despite that, the service was excellent. All the staff worked like a team to get people taken care of. The wait was not too long for the food and the food tasted great! Consider their cabana room in the back with the bar as that room was quiet with good lighting with more booths and tables to enjoy. Oh, and it is a seat yourself place and that's okay but just so you know going in that they have more space in the back. It was an enjoyable experience. My fiance and I will come back again when we travel to Brookings! ;)
Good comfort food. Fish(not fish sticks) and Chips is amazing and so are the frys!! Club Sandwiche is so big its hard to get your mouth around it!! Great place to go relax with family and friends. A+
