The young lady who took my order was nice, but that's it! The chicken was horrible! Didn't even taste like Blue Store! It had none of their famous seasoning on it, but by the time I noticed it, my helpers were already serving it to our guests! I was so disappointed! The next time I facilitate a Community Outreach, I definitely won't be getting my chicken from there!
No frills, friendly atmosphere. Just good people and great food! Ordered a 50pc wing and a few some egg rolls for my team to work through lunch, and it was hit. Without calling ahead, my order was ready in about 10 min, so it is absolutely an option in a pinch. The wings were some of the best I've had, make sure to grab some napkins! The egg rolls really surprised me, they were just as good as the one's that were served at the old Trey Yuen restaurant in Hammond. I would highly recommend everyone try it if you haven't already! (And it won't bust your budget!)
Prices here much higher than the others by over 2.5, don’t get to select two sides. They main one and the one off Florida blvd are much better priced and options. This one seems like a money grab. The girl in the front was really sweet and helpful though
While Visiting from Alaska, buddy took me here. Best fried chicken I’ve had. I forgot to take a picture of it, ate it too fast.
i've heard amazing things about this restaurant and i have to admit i was not disappointed,this is a family oriented business although it is a franchise,i had to get the chicken wings because they are always raved about,i also got the shrimp fried rice and 4 egg rolls,i was pleased with the food and staff,the staff was extremely friendly and helpful,the business was clean and inviting,the bathroom was very clean and it was handicap accessible,if you're in Baton Rouge make sure you visit The Blue Store Chicken on Old Hammond Hwy ????????????
I’m a pickie person when it comes to eating out. But from day one since I’ve eaten here. I’ve loved every plate I’ve bought, and every 50 piece I’ve done ordered.
Went here for lunch early after 10:30 thinking it has to be fresh they just opened at 10am. Wrong! Ordered wings, two egg rolls and three potato logs. Gross chicken had to either be fried in old grease or re dipped. Dark with an almost burnt flavor. The egg rolls looked like they were from the day before and dropped in grease. Iv been eating from the blue store for years but i will not visit this particular location again. I wish I had taken a photo of the chicken
The best Chicken Wings, Fried Rice and Egg rolls around town. Not only was the food piping hot and fresh. But the owners and employees were super nice and helpful. 5 Stars all around.
