Bluestar nails it in every aspect! Affordable food isat the top of the list, it's hard to find food anymore that you don't have to mortgage your house for... Very friendly staff and great coffee! Check it out once you won't be disappointed.
My daughter had an appointment in Gibson City that we were early for. I looked for a diner online and found this place. It was a little hard to find. They do not have proper sineage by the street. They have a sign on their side door. It's a little confusing and was frustrated to drive past it a couple times. Just want you guys to know if you're driving around looking for it.
When we got in we were greeted by the kindest waitstaff. They let us pick a table. There was ample seating and not too busy. I only had $10 to buy my daughter (6y) lunch. It was easily done. She got a hotdogs, fries, and sprite for just under $7.00. It was plenty enough. The waitress was very kind when I declined a drink and meal and brought me some water. My daughter said they were the best fries she's ever had and the hotdog was good as well. The meal came quickly.
All in all I would recommend and we will be coming back as a family next time we are all in the area. You should go too! Just remember to pull into the side parking lot to find the door(;
I've eaten here several times. And no matter what I order, it is always excellent. From the Patty Melt, the Philly Steak and Cheese, Hot Beef and gravy over mashed potatoes or the Mushroom Swiss Burger. It's all delicious. Service is great and prices are very reasonable. It's where I want to eat whenever I come to town.
Absolutely wonderful food, coffee and service! My veggie skillet was loaded with fresh broccoli, mushrooms etc. and was topped with three perfectly cooked eggs. So glad we stopped in here and will definitely come back when we are in the area.
Small place but service was excellent, food was cooked perfect and so delicious.

and Gravy, Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns,
and Sausage.
