Best WLM Reviews
The wait staff was amazing and very personable. After a long day, it was nice to be able to converse with someone and not feel rushed to have to get an order in or hurry in anyway. I asked for a recommendation, and she suggested a chicken dish, and it was very good.
I can’t wait to try some of the other options they have on the menu. Affordable and great portions.
We went for the first time on Saturday for breakfast. It's a cute place and our server was very nice. They had one table when we got there and two more seated when we left. We both wanted "sliced potatoes"... we LOVE fried potatoes and it's hard to find them. They had "just" ran out of all potato options. He ordered the meat lovers omelet with toast, I ordered two eggs, toast, two slices of bacon with a side of fruit. At first we thought there was melted cheese coming out of the omelet, but we realized that it was egg yolk...it didn't look right and he didn't eat a single bite. My bacon and toast was good (I like the wheat bread) but my fruit was old and shriveled up, and the eggs were greasy. We did speak to a manager and she took his meal off the bill. We ended up going to Waffle House so we could get some hash browns! Pretty disappointing... hopefully they'll get it together and we can try again later.
Food was not good at all.
Mushroom Bacon Stuffed Steak is just stuffed with a cheese spread and is tiny. The pic attached shows only 3 bites missing. The person with me only took only 3 bites and said it was the toughest steak they have ever had.
Dinner rolls are $7 and the flavor was good, but they need to rise and they were dry.
Lobster roll is a joke. It has about 3 - 4 bites of lobster and the rest was buttered lettuce that contained some brown pieces.
Carrots were mediocre.
Red skinned potatoes were so burnt, they were practically black.
Breaded mushrooms, garlic mashed potatoes, and French fries were okay.
Window sill that was next to us looked like it hadn’t ever been wiped down. And add in that ALL our silverware was dirty, and when I talked to the owner she was extremely defensive and treated me like my opinion was wrong. As someone who eats out 3-5 times a week, I thought she would want the feedback so she could improve. I guess not.
I have dined here multiple times for. breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Don't come for me, but I like my burgers well done and many places that equals dry or some pink - not here. My burgers have been cooked through and still juicy. I love the grilled ham & cheese croissant or any of the french toasts for breakfast. Lunch favorites are lobster roll, cheeseburger, Quiche Lorraine, and the Hawaiian Hot Ham & Cheese. Favorite dinners are Chicken Soubise, Honey Glazed Pork Loin, and Cajun Chicken Alfredo. Favorite appetizer by far is the Polynesian Calamari. Favorite dessert: Creme Brulee. Favorite adult beverage is the apple cider mule.
I adored this cute little restaurant. The food was delicious! I will definitely be back! I got the lobster roll with the Mac and cheese. Lots of flavor! So yummy!
We heard good things about this restaurant so we wanted to try. Will never go here again. We had dinner rolls...they were the warm up kind not even fresh. They were 7.50. they were over microwaved and brushed with butter. I got fried catfish. Disappointed. It was soggy and a little under cooked for my taste. Indie not eat anything but my fries. They have great coffee though. And the fries aren't bad. Service was great but with what I experienced I'm surprised they are still open. The food is way over priced. It's sad when you spend over 40 dollars on dinner just to have to go eat somewhere else and spend more money.
Honestly disgusting. $27 for carryout and I get a couple of mushrooms and tomatoes as my veggie side, the driest, toughest, most bland/unseasoned steak ever, and "lobster mac and cheese" which is noodles with alfredo sauce and a sprinkle of lobster. I threw all of it in the trash after taking one bite.
The food took a really long time to come out. Out of 7 of us one person enjoyed part of their food. Steaks were tough, no flavor and under cooked. Chicken was tough and no flavor. Glazed carrots were terrible, garlic potatoes were terrible, alfredo sauce was watery and no flavor. The sodas, sweet tea, shrimp cocktail, and pork loin were good. We will not be going back. Our waitress was sweet, but it seemed like she was doing all the jobs :(
