This buffet restaurant is so clean
All workers always clean and clean all the time.
The food was OK
The price was ok

Quality of food has gone down over the years. Food temperature is also a bit low. Tough to eat cold cold food. Overall the food is not as good as it used to be. The service is good and has always been the same. They also don't have my favorite fish since the pandemic. On the plus side it's actually a clean buffet.
I noticed there has a lot of bad review for tip.
Last week I went there and I did not give any tip at front desk (with credit card).
I left tips(cash) on the table after I finished lunch.
Foods are hot and good.
Tables are clean.
Staffs are also not bad as mentioned previous comments.
I have a good time at there.
But don't forget to give tip after you eating ????.
So everything will be fine.
Visited there with my friend, we were going back to home from DC one day. God! We were so hungry, I wanted something really heavy, though I don't eat that much. My friend recommended this place. He said let's go hit Blue pearl, I was never been there before, but I was like like okayy. Ohh woww amazing Place with lots of options, probably take long time to figure out what you gonna pick next...???? but yeahh nice employees, great atmosphere. Gonna go back there pretty soon.
I been looking for a Asian style buffet so I could take my grandson. I found this place thinking that it was a good option, but I'm so disappointed. We arrive at 9 pm and they close at 10. But by 9.20 everyone starts to rush us. First s guy mopping the floor while we are eating, and using a air dryer so the dinner becomes a very unpleasant experience. Waitresses rushing to serve the last drinks. Reaching over people at the table. No manners what so ever. Very poor service. Awful attitude and perhaps the rudest service ever.
Not to mention that the food was just ok. I told the soup guy that it was too salty, and he just look at me like saying, so?
By the time we decided to leave all the waitresses rush into our table demanding a tip. It was very rude of them and disappointing. One of them even poking on my wife's arm to demand a tip. I work in the same industry and I always tip. But this was an exception. A family dinner turned into a very unpleasant experience. I won't recommend to my worse enemy. Bad, really poor and unprofessional.
I have been coming to this buffet for many years and the food has been wonderful but on this last visit I found an entire roach on my beef and broccoli fully intact, we left immediately. Service staff was the only good part.
Super great price of 17 bucks for dinner. The staff is friendly and the food actually has FLAVOR. Its impressive for a buffet. I always see people going and getting food to go by weight its that good.
The food was really good for buffet style. The buffet area was clean and well kept and adhered to food safety. Service was very good, and the server anticipated needs well. Crawfish were huge, noodles not soggy, and decent variety. The only issue was egg drop soup had a metallic taste. The price was exceptional for Silver Spring 15$ Will Return often
