The Blue Olive Cafe has everything you would expect from a small town Cafe - delicious food and drinks, great atmosphere and awesome opportunities for conversations. Every time I have come, Bobby or his staff has been incredibly friendly and made my day that much better with their smiles.
I will be returning for another chai latte hopefully very soon. ????
Great place, reminds me of Kentucky shops when I was a kid. I recommend this place highly. So don't be shy! Come on down to Milan and get some gooood coffee! They have food too!
Such good coffee and great food! The biscuits and gravy is phenomenal and priced well. Bobby was so patient in talking to us about the different coffees and their brews and had tons of knowledge. Lisa was very friendly and knew the history of the building and the surrounding area. Such a cute environment and will definitely be back.
This is one of the first restaurants I visited after moving here and I love it! The atmosphere is very visually interesting and relaxing, very much a modern coffee shop vibe but with the comforts of home. There are a ton of hot and cold coffee drinks to choose from and the soups and sandwiches that I’ve tried have all been amazing! Bob is a very passionate and kind guy and his employees are wonderful too. This café is everything you want from a small business and really cares about the community too. I always look forward to going!
The Blue Olive Cafe is my Happy place!!The food is awesome especially the tomato bisque soup, chicken salad, the Ruben, smoothies, hot chocolate ,tea, coffee, and coffee dThe quaint and wonderful atmosphere is unique!! Love it.????
We were visiting friends and family and came across the Blue Olive Cafe in Milan, IN. A nice place to stop for coffee, which was very good. They offer a limited menu of soups and bagels which I did not try. Located in an old hardware store now transformed into a quirky local coffee place. The old floor boards and display cabinets lend a warm feel to a cavernous room.
There’s plenty of seating and a comfy a lounge in the back. Service is friendly. There is street parking.
I love that the soups are made from scratch! I’m not much of a soup person, but Blue Olive’s soups are certainly worth a try. Soooo good. I also like that a person with gluten intolerance can find something on the menu to eat. Love restaurants with great atmosphere and this place is so cool.
Just knowing the passion that went into creating the Blue Olive Cafe not for the owners benefit but for a new place for the COMMUNITY is beautiful all in it own. Gorgeous layout, comfortable atmosphere and tasting treats. Perfect for a group gathering for some catch up time or stop in on your way to work or start your day.Either way once you stop in once. I guarantee the Blue Olive will leave a lasting impression. Try it out guys after all they opened this place for YOU!
