Best, most fun bar in town! Younger crowd, and Saturday karaoke is crazy awesome! Basic bar food....I recommend the fried zucchini. Great staff! The door girl was supremely welcoming and fun.
Be sure to get a photo with the ladies bathroom doors!
Great bar! It was our first time visiting Lava Hot Springs and the bartender that night gave us some inside tips on what to do and see. They have a full menu of food and drinks. But of course we just ordered ourselves 2 Blue Moon Beers.
Unfortunately the building was completely destroyed after a record amount of snow over loading it
I'm actually giving this place 6 stars!!! We spent a week in Lava Hot Springs and we just had the best time. The locals could not have been more friendly, helpful, and accommodating.
The bartenders were great, drink prices were reasonable and the music was good. They have a huge outdoor area open in season.

Great atmosphere and awesome bartenders! Came here for a breakfast buffet and mimosas. Loved everything about it. Will definitely come back next time we're in Lava. This also isn't a Utah bar, ie they pour their drinks strong, just like I like it.
We stopped here for a few drinks while we are in town. Steven, the bartender, was very personable and fun. The locals we met were all really cool and we had a really great time. This place has darts, pool and some video type games. The bathrooms were super clean, too. It also meant a lot to us that they had a tribute table set up to honor the 13 recently lost Marines. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.
The moon hosted our rehearsal dinner when we got married in Lava in September. Gale was incredible to work with and the staff and food was great. Gale even surprised us with live music for the event. Would highly recommend the Red Room at the Blue Moon for private events.
Classic small town bar complete with live music, fried food, and a great selection of spirits. If you are looking for fast service, you won't find it here. This is a place where you need to slow down and be in the moment. Had a blast chatting with the locals and listening to the band.
