Best WLM Reviews
Had agreed great dinner and drinks. Service wasn’t the best waitress kept getting lost. Someone else kept helping us. And it was a little on the loud side. I actually think someone one was playing guitar. Will definitely go back. Nice menu
The renovations looked great! The place appears clean. We were finally able to get a table without a wait. The server was friendly and quick. We ordered the special chicken potpie and the blackened salmon. The chicken potpie was delicious the flaky puff pastry was delicious. It was a big serving as well I was able to get dinner and lunch the next day. The gravy was so good and seasoned well the chicken was very tender. My only criticism would be the chicken could have been cut smaller. They were very large chunks and I had to cut them in order to get all the flavors in one bite. My husband had the blackened salmon it was cooked well but could have used more blackened seasoning. The beans and rice along with green beans were all good as well. We took a carryout on dessert, i had the apple crisp and it was delicious and my husband had the cheesecake and he enjoyed that as well. Beer was cold, and my wine was a good pour. There was no band the night we were dining in. The lights dimmed down while we were eating, we were in a dimmer area as it was and that made it a little harder to see menu. Not a big deal but worth the comment. Definitely will return to try some of the other menu options.
So this place is much different than what it used to be. Much much different. Not even the same place at all. Much improved so to say, unless you wanted a dive bar with a way to overly loud band. Complete redesign so nothin like the old place. Service was good food was good everything was good. The Bulleit Bourbon Chicken needs some work, not enough sauce, didn't really get the bourbon flavor. Mushroom and onions are definitely a distraction but definitely don't know where the bourbon was. The chicken was very tender though. The goose burger was fantastic and the fries here are really really good they remind me of almost like a Rally's fry but not quite. To have a big slice of deep fried cream cheese on top of your burger is really something else and easily makes for a delicious burger! They had a gentleman there doing live acoustic music covers that was outstanding! And even looked like a mix between Charlie Watts and Keith Richards! The prices seem just right for the area they are in but could be lower of course. They weren't too busy for a Friday night only waited 30 seconds for a table at 6: 30 in the evening. If you've been to the old I would definitely check out the new, quite the difference.
We came here because it was a really good place and haven’t been since it was renovated. Needless to say we will NOT be going back. First, came in for dinner and they placed us right under the speakers of a loud band. We asked to move and we did but still loud for dinner. Ordered the Calamari and there was literally no flavor. The marinara sauce looked like it was ripped over. BF got a burger and the bun was soggy and in a pile of icky (see photo) ordered a small CHICKEN ceaser salad and they forgot my chicken. Was the worst salad I’ve ever had and the cost was insane. So we sat and waited for our bill and the waitress was pro occupied with her phone. Will never return like I said!!!!!
Great vibes when we walked in (it was loud but it was after 9:30pm- if thats not your style, come earlier). The place was packed which is always great to see for a new business. We ordered the feta dip to start, which was absolutely amazing! Boneless wings, traditional wings, coconut shrimp, and jambalaya. Everyone gave 5 stars. Jambalaya portion was very large. All of the wing sauces were excellent aside from the “Buffalo blue cheese” -not a fan… tasted like mostly blue cheese dressing. Hoping they add a traditional Buffalo in the future. Great service from Mary Beth. We will be back again, for sure!!! Prices were very fair, about $20 per person plus drinks. Awesome job, Blue Goose!????
Fantastic! This place is newly remodeled, everything sparkles. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended.
Server was an absolute gem. Drinks were good. I ordered mussels and they were pretty gross. Very fishy smelling. I ate them anyways because I was super hungry. I wouldn't order them here again, but I would give this place another chance. Other food may be good but I only have this single dish to rate (two stars knocked for mussels).
Fun place. Great food. Super friendly staff. Easy to navigate parking lot. Clean restrooms
