very good price quality ratio! staff friendly large portion. locals company
Road local restaurant on 160, right before monument valley, worth a try. Very nice service and stuff, cheap food and more than average food quality.
Delicious and the lightest and most tender frybread I've ever had. So different than the kind they have in Indian Country in the Northern states. Delicious food, every bite. Very friendly staff. We went there twice while visiting my sister who works at the clinic nearby. I thought I was in heaven hearing people speaking Navajo all around us. Miigwech!
Great local diner type food. Popular with locals. Fair prices. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nice folks, good service.
Ate here twice - once on the way into Monument Valley and once on the way out. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is served hot and quickly. Drinks are huge. This is typical diner/homestyle food cooked fresh and tasty...not gourmet, not the healthiest, but exactly what you would expect at a family-owned diner in a small town. Value in terms of price/tasty food ratio is excellent, hence the five stars. And because everything is run so efficiently, I would highly recommend this restaurant rather than stopping at the fast food one next door.
Came for dinner after our guide at monument valley suggested it. Had the beef and noodle soup and the chop mutton and asked for it in fey bread. It was good and by far one of the better meals of the road trip. Disappointed by dinner the previous night at The View Hotel and their Americanised menu. This place by contrast was filled with locals. I'd recommend it for anyone in the area looking for a well priced meal.
Our server dampened our experience greatly. She barely acknowledged us, just enough to take our order and our payment with no greetings or a smile. We were never checked in on during our meal or offered water. It felt like discrimination by how she treated the table next to us, which was warm while offering options (white or wheat toast/what would you like to drink). We didn’t get any of the basic customer service I would expect. The prices and portions of the food was good. The bus boy (man) was friendly and did refill our cups a few times with a smile.
We were delighted to discover this little local restaurant while visiting Monument Valley. We dined here two nights and both times the service was great and so was the food. Great comfort food you'd expect from a local small restaurant.
